ReBel Part 3

I hope you are at least enjoying this walk down Rescue Beauty Lounge lane.  I know I am.  I could totally keep going until I've reshown you all 58 bottles, but I'm not sure you all would love it as much as I would!

Anywho, I'm still working on my posing.  For some reason, I just cannot get my hands to relax and look all nice like other bloggers do.  It's still a work in progress.

Here's a dilemma I faced the other day.  If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you would already have seen this.  Growing up, we were never allowed to leave our bed unmade.  Heaven forbid!  It is so instilled in me that to this day, the first thing I do after my morning coffee is make the bed.

Now you also know the love I have for my cats.  So imagine the look on my face and the torture going on inside my head when I came across this.

Yup, that's Sam snoozing in the comforter I need to make my bed.  Ah what to do here?  Do I leave him since he looks so comfortable and cute?  Or do I do the ingrained since birth chore of making my bed and kick him out?

What do you think I did?

The part I left out, is that Sam does this often and usually knows he has to get up when I make the bed.  I have trained him well.  If he's lying on the bed and I have to make it, I tell him, "up, up, up" and he knows to get up and let me make the bed.

And they say cats are stupid!

There are mornings when he just doesn't want to get up and there are days when I let him sleep.  But it's only on the weekends.  I couldn't possibly leave the house with an unmade bed.  Nope just can't do that!

The answer to the above question?  I let him sleep, but then ran the vacuum and he hates that, so it got him up!  I spent two hours vacuuming that day.  I'm talking the cobwebs in the corners, I did the ceiling fans etc. I had gotten to the point where it was grossing me out.  I think it's been never since I did the cobwebs and years since I did the fan.  No I don't live in filth, just some things, I don't see, you know?

On to RBL mani entry #3.  Here is your silly bottle shot.

This is Teal, Recycle and 360.

I did the same as the two before with skittles.

I love these colors!  I think I did the best job polishing on this mani.  Plus I think I finally found my perfect clean up brush.  It's a Bare Escentuals Precision eyeliner brush.  Can you see the slight shimmer in the ring finger?  Swooooooooon.

Again, I did the gradient stamping using BM417 and then the same holo studs. Remember this is a swatching contest.

I really like how this one came out.  I think the gradient stamping is better here. There is a person on IG who does what she calls advanced stamping.  This uses different colors to make the stamp.  I'm going to try that some time soon.  I think I'm a darn good stamper and really think this would be something I could do.

You know what?  I told you this was my last RBL mani, but I just remembered my next one is done with RBL, I just didn't submit it for the contest.  It's a Halloween one!

What would you have done with Sam in the blanket?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
