I'll let you know if I happen to make it to the voting arena. If you like mine, vote for me. I already think I see who will win. I want to see if I'm right.
It's still raining outside and I'm seriously jonesing for sun and holos. Instead, I'm doing dark and spooky. I'm not really a Halloween person. I don't celebrate it or anything. I watch horror movies year round. I just got a wild hair in my ass and decided to enter my second contest of the week.
What the hell has happened to me lately that I would be a joiner? I have no idea.
I have no good stories for you today, so let's just get to it.
Here is your silly bottle shot.
I realized I don't own a regular white polish. This is Bettina 15, YSL Shiny Black and Sally Hansen Whirlwind White.
Never in my years of blogging have I done a mani using polish that has the most obnoxious brushes as this one. I don't know how the people who regularly use Sally Hansen deal with the stupid brush and tall bottle. It drives me nuts. I made such a mess polishing that I had a ton of clean up. Even the YSL, had a wonky brush. It was cut on an angle and just bad news. The Bettina was the only good one!
I did skittles with these colors.
Next I stamped using Bundle Monster plates BM413 and BM H07. I added chain link to the accent nail and studs to the other nails.
Here are the really cool results. If I do say so myself!
I entered this actual picture in the contest.
The picture above this one is to show you I was holding a large knife. Since I love slasher horror movies I thought it a nice touch.
I love these skulls and the stud eyes are crazy cool. My favorite though is the pinky web. That came out so perfectly.
I hope to at least make a good showing in the contest. I will be shocked if I make the top three. I would so love to win-but looking at the entries, I just don't think it's in the cards.
Can't say I haven't tried though right??
Which one of my Halloween ones do you like better?
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
