Before we get started here, I just wanted to let you guys know that I am NOT stopping my funky frenches. Most of my comments I got want me to continue doing them, one even said that it is my 'thing.' Plus since this is my blog, I'm going to do what I want and that is funky frenches! I love them and I've gotten pretty good at them as well!
My last post, I mentioned a blog friend stating that I wasn't flashy. In the same conversation, she said I never wear black polish. Actually, I wore black polish long before it became vogue during my hard core Goth period in the 80s. I own quite a few black polishes but for some reason, haven't shown them to you yet. I hope my friend knows I love her and is not offended that I am using our emails for my blog!!
First we have the bottle shot. This is post Irene with my car in the background and if you look really hard, you'll see my lopsided tree that the hurricane tried to tip over! My tree won though! HAHA!
I give you the iconic Chanel Black Satin. This polish is what made black cool. It is a straight on inky black and I love it! I missed out on it when it first came out and ended up paying way too much on Ebay. Now you can get it at regular price! This could be a one coater, but I did two. Here are indoor and outdoor shots. My accent nail is Essie Blanc. A straight on white. Kind of digging the accent nail look. Are you?

I then used plate BM 209 and viola, fish net stockings! I think this is really a cool look. Much louder than I usually do. I guess I'm still trying to be flashy! Again, the indoor and outdoor shots.

Don't you see fishnet stockings as well?? I must tell you that people thought this was a very loud mani. I did get a lot of compliments on it. One doctor I work with says I must be sniffing too much nail polish fumes. He's says I'm having too many 'blond' moments at work! It's a good thing we pick on each other on a daily basis or else I think I'd need to be offended right???
So do you guys like this look? Is the accent nail cool or not?
I like the accent nail look! I like doing nail art on the accent nail and then I feel like I've accomplished a complete mani rather than doing all my nails. Also I love your tree. That tree is a survivor.
