Liquid Sky Lacquer Black Opal

Damn people.  2016 had the lowest amount of posts here on my blog in its six year history.  I'm struggling here big time.  Went home for Christmas, which is always nice, but fighting the traffic is worse every year.  My brother had made us CDs of bits of video from Christmas's past of my Dad.

I told myself I wasn't going to watch it. I told myself I wasn't ready.  But then my hand pushed the CD into the computer and there he was. Alive again.  I watched it over and over, crying the whole time.  It is about two weeks away from the two year anniversary of his death and it still feels this raw.

I know someday it will be a nice thing to watch, just not right now.

So work stuff.......

While I was off for Christmas, I had asked Ms Princess and another random nurse to cover me.  I had all the work done, all I needed was Ms Princess to carry the stuff to conference and the other nurse to do nursing stuff to the FIVE patients on that day.

Well, it seems that the nurse "forgot" that she was going to cover me and for some reason, this set Ms Princess off big time.  I was told that she came flying into the office screaming the F word and carrying on how this was all my fault and that I should have taken care of this.

Um WTF???

Of course, when I got back to work, Ms Princess didn't tell me the part about how she blamed me to the other nurses, she just went on and on martyring herself and all the work she did on my behalf. Which by the way, she did wrong!  She also had gone to the boss and basically tattled on me so when I did come back to work, of course I had an email from the boss asking me to clarify if I had provided coverage for my time off.

I was only told by the new girl this information.  I cannot wait for Ms Princess to be out of my office and out of my face! Her replacement comes middle of January.
