KOH!!!

I am very excited about today's polish.  It's a new brand to me but one I have been lemming for a loooooooong time!  I did a swap with a girl in Belgium and finally got my hands on what is promising to be my new brand of choice.

Are you as addicted to Amazon.com as I am?  I love that website and order most everything from them.  I plan to join the Prime service in January.  This is $79 and you get a year of free 2nd day shipping.  The amount of stuff I get from them is way more in shipping than this price.  So yeah I'm going to give it a try.

I was having hair dye day when an Amazon employee came in.  I am totally fascinated and wanted to know what it's like to work there.  Well, let me tell you. First you have to do mandatory six ten hour shifts during peak season, which is now.  You start off as a temp, employed by a temp agency.  You get only three hours of training at that time. You then either figure it out or you don't.  The pickers are the ones who pull the items off the shelf that you order.  They are required to pick 115 items per hour or 2 per minute.  If you do not, you get fired.  I am all for hard work and love this regimented way of doing things. You start the job with six points.  Being late or leaving early, you lose a point etc. Once you've lost all six points, you are fired.  You carry a scanner and a tote to pick the items.  The scanner will tell you when to go to lunch, when to go on break etc.  If you aren't keeping up with the required items per hour, you are fired.

I did not find out about the other areas, since this person is a picker.  I just think it's a cool way of doing things.  Then you know each person is pulling their weight.  Too many places there are always those who do much more work than their co workers. This way makes the work even for all.  Once you've been there six weeks and have proven that you can do the job, then you are hired into Amazon and then given proper orientation and training.  I think this is a good plan.  Why waste time and money training people at the beginning who don't want to work?

Makes me like Amazon that much more!  They are going to start delivering on Sunday.  This is a new thing. I like that too.

OK enough stalling. Here is your silly bottle shot.

This is Mavala Metallic Grey and KOH Biggest Fan.  Yup that has become me!!!!  I forgot to take a picture of the individual boxes these come in.  So fancy.  I love the shape of the bottle but the long top is kind of awkward to polish with.  Yes these are expensive and only 10ml.  I didn't know that at the time.  It is so worth it to me though-just wait to see why.

I started with skittles.

Now remember this was hair dye day, so I was in a hurry and did not do perfect polishing here!  But this KOH is a one coater!!!! Had I been more careful, I could have gotten away with it.  That's what makes it worth the $$.

Next I stamped with the opposite color using MoYou Artist 11.  Here are the results.

This Mavala is also a tiny bottle, only 5ml but it has this pearlized glow to it that is gorgeous.  I saw it on instagram and had to have it.  But how awesome is it that this KOH stamps???  I am begging them to let me be their swatcher, but we all know that's my fantasy.  I may have to sell off some of my polish to buy more. This is serious brand love.  But I will wait until I've tried the other three that I got.

Here is a picture of the plate I used.

Look at the bottom right of this plate.  There you will see the tribal pattern I used here.  I am in love with these plates!!!!!

Do you love Amazon too? Does anyone want to send me more KOH out there????????

Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
