Autumn Spice Cake

You all know how Polish Amor and I are supposed to be on a no buy right?  That we broke it the same day we made the deal?

You also know I am a proud polish snob and refuse to use drugstore brands.  Well I fell in love with a Revlon.  I know, I know.  It's not normal for me.  But I saw a swatch on Scrangie and just had to have it. You should also know it's a brown, natch.

Well, my drugstores where I live suck.  As in never having anything recently released ever.  Then one day I went to get my mail and guess what was there?!?  The very polish I was lemming to no end and Polish Amor got it for me.

Now that's a good polish friend for you!

Apparently there are 16 of these new Revlons.  They are scented.  I must state here and now that the smell of this polish makes me want to hurl.  Serious hurlage.  I was hoping the scent would go away with a thick topcoat, or time, but nope.  I only wore it for one day, so I can't say how long the scent sticks around.  The bummer is, I am in love with this polish, but the thought of that smell, may keep me from wearing it ever again.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the scent?

Here is your silly bottle shot.

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Spice Cake and Revlon Parfumerie Autumn Spice.  Now you know how I got my brilliant title.

I started with skittles.

Yup it's brown love for sure.  Love these Liquid Sky holos.  I have more coming to show you!  Now this Revlon is also a micro glitter.  I've decided micro glitter is ok sometimes.  I was worried that it would be a pain to get off, but it really wasn't.  I do love the fire that glows in this Revlon.

Now I didn't want to cover up either one of these polish, so I simply dotted and studded.  Here are the results.

I have to admit, that just looking at this polish makes me remember the scent and how awful it was. Let me try to describe for you.  Sort of a clovey, five spicey scent. Makes me shudder.

BUT this is one gorgeous polish and I am so thankful to have such an amazing friend who would surprise me with this.

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
