Bird of Paradise

I am actually writing this on the last day of my five day Thanksgiving break.  I have gotten a lot of chores done, but have no good stories for you.  I'm so not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.  Not at all.

I have to go to work super early for a stupid in service on customer service.  Why do they torture us with this crap?  Do they really think any one person actually pays attention, takes notes and implements it into their work day?  I don't think so.  It's gonna be a painful hour first thing of the day on a Monday.  How much torture can one take????

I am still playing with my holos and new MoYou plates.  Today is no exception.

Oh I just thought of something.  You know I'm on Instagram now.  So there are mega accounts that do shout outs if they like your mani.  So I was featured yesterday.  It was the orange holo one I showed you here.  I really liked this one and was happy I got the feature.

Well imagine the hurt I felt when I went through the comments and they were all hateful. Like "how ugly" and "oh that's awful" and sh*t like that.  There was one of the 100 comments that asked why were people being so mean to me.  Apparently, this account is followed by a lot of preteens and tweens.  Why is this group of kids so mean?  This is why women suck.  That women put others down and can't be happy for each other. It's supposed to be a happy nail art place and I was skewered there.  Really kind of hurts. I almost said something but just left it alone.  Nothing I would say would make them be better people.

I just don't understand why people have to be so mean.  It's fine if you don't like it, but to be hateful is not ok.

If you look closely at my middle finger, you will see what looks like dents.  This is actually flakes in this holo. It's one of Enchanted's originals and the only one with flakes.  Makes it look like I dented it!

Next I used the Zoya to stamp with MoYou plate Landscape 2.  I added some studs and voila. Here are the results.

I'm not sure if you can see the bird of paradise amongst the holo bling.  But it's a gorgeous bird.
