Oh Young Grasshoppa

I decided to have a green day.  Wanted something simple, yet fabulous. Holos always make for fabulous don't you think?

I also didn't want to spend a lot of time since I was going to do yard work, namely rake my backyard of all the many leaves that have fallen recently.  I spent an hour and did a majority of my backyard.  Of course, it's supposed to be super windy today, so that means the leaves I didn't get and my neighbor's leaves will be traveling to my yard.  Once I paid a guy like $150 to blow the leaves from my entire yard.  The very next day it was serious wind and storm and blew the leaves from the houses on either side of me into my yard. Never again.  Never again........

I actually enjoy raking.  I love the smell, the sound and when I was a kid I used to take a nap in a pile of leaves just because I could.  I thought about that today, but figured I'd get weird looks from the neighbors. Not that they already find me weird taking pictures of my nails outside.  Oh well.  I raked up such a huge pile I thought I'd share it with you.

Now in this picture are the leaves I had gotten  to the back of the yard in front of the woods.  See the green work glove?  That's for comparison.

In this picture is the HUGE pile I raked into the woods in back of my house.  See my work glove again for the size comparison. Are you freaking out right now?  That is one seriously huge pile of leaves.  And I've got more in my yard to do.  Don't you just want to take a running leap into that pile?  Used to do that as kids as well.  I almost almost almost did that.  Sometimes being an adult is just NO FUN!  In retrospect, I should have said the hell with it and done it anyway, but I'd have to rake them all up again.

Now on to the mani.  Here is your silly bottle shot.

This is Zoya Hunter, Llarowe Young Grasshoppa and Enchanted Polish Green Peace on Earth.

I started with skittles.

This Llarowe is a PITA. Seriously, the brush is wonky, the formula is thin and it's sheer as hell. I'm not a fan. Although the end result is a pretty color, I'm just not sure it's worth it.

Next I stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM 415 and added my funky.  Simple.

It's a mother board from a computer!  I think that's pretty cool, but then again, I'm a geek at times.  I do love how these greens go so well together.

Do you like to rake leaves?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
