Pink again???

Something must be desperately wrong with me to be wearing another mani with pink in it so soon after my flower fail pink.  What have you people done to me?  Get this, when I was planning on what to wear for next time?  Pink again!!!!  That's three pinks in a very short time. I really need to get my vamp back.  I have just the color for that too-just you wait!

I decided to change my cat's food.  They both have been on this special vet food for a very long time.  My big boy Sam has issues with bladder infections and this food increases urine production.  Well I think that yes this has definitely done that, but at the same time, I think it's making them a little constipated.  They are peeing so much that there is no water left to help with the other elimination.  Plus Checkers has been throwing up sometimes and I think it's because she's backed up.

Why don't I take them to the vet?  Because they are a nightmare in the car.  I mean seriously.  They foam at the mouth and it's just not pretty.  If I felt this was life threatening, trust me I would. I feel that I can try this new food and see what happens. Worst case scenario? They go back on the vet food.

So I was at PetSmart yesterday looking at all the brands out there and I decided on Blue. I'd seen commercials on TV and it looks like a really cool concept.  All natural holistic food to help with weight, hairballs, digestion etc.  I bought two different types, one for Mature cats (mine are both 10 now) and one for Indoor cats.  So far Checkers is eating it, but Sam is turning up his nose.  I figure when he gets hungry enough, he'll try it.  Yes I am mixing it in with their vet food, I have transitioned their diet before and he was just as picky then when the vet food was introduced.

All you with pets out there-isn't it amazing what we do for our babies?  My cats eat better quality food than I do!!!

OK-are we ready for the pink???????  Here is the silly bottle shot for today.

This is Bettina Silk, Contrary Polish Better Together and Aruba (on the outside) and Enchanted Polish J'Adore in the middle.

I started with one layer of Silk and a layer of J'Adore.  The J'adore is a pink holo and was a little sheer so I didn't want to have to do a billion layers.  Here are the starting shots.

It's been awesome how cooperative the sun has been lately. I've been able to play with my holos!  I was so focused on what I was doing that I again neglected to do shots of the steps.

I placed striping tape and painted the bottom part with Better Together and the top with Aruba.  Then I did dots through the middle.  Kind of covered up the pink-more Fingers like!  Here are the results.

Stupid me however, decided it was such a nice day that I'd go clean up all the branches in my yard from the snow and wind.  So there are dents in the final-but my yard looks good!

Do you see the shimmer in this top color Aruba?  It's like it has my love Selkie infused in it.  I had worn these colors before as a full mani, but didn't take pictures of it.  So I had to crack them out again and show you how gorgeous they are.
