A Green Mishap

Most of you know that I rarely do holiday themes or play well with others.  As I write this, it is actually St Patrick's Day and it just so happens that I was in a green mood. Simply coincidence.  I did not intend for this to happen.  But hey-believe what you want.

I am still trying to play with different readers.  I am in the process of trying The Old Reader.  I have created an archive from Google Takeout like I was told, but now I can't figure out how to get it into a subscription.xml file.  Apparently this is the only format to transfer the data.  I hate feeling stupid, I know I'm not and this just frustrates the hell out of me when I can't figure something out.

It downloaded into a zip file, which I extracted to a regular file but now am stuck.  This file is not being accepted and I give up!  I have not the patience at this point in time to try and figure it out.  Anyone out there a computer geek and knows what to do?  I'd be most grateful!

Let's move on shall we?  I told you previously that I got some new Chick Polish in. Today we will be playing with one of them.  There is also something different from the first step to the second step of this mani.  Something tragic and sad.  Let's see if you can figure it out.

Here is the silly bottle shot.

This is Rescue Beauty Lounge Orbis Non Sufficit and Chick Cutie Pie.  I started with Cutie Pie, which is a mint cream and a pain in the butt as most pastels are.  I've found that only Lime Crime has solved the pastel dilemma.

Orbis is a one coat wonder as a lot of RBL are and I just love this color.  Here are the starting shots.

I'm overdue to open a new cleanup brush.  Mine has bristles sticking out all over and it's not helping me get clean lines.  Next mani-

I next stamped only with Orbit, because Cutie was so streaky sheer I knew it would not stamp at all.  I used Pueen plate 15.  Here is that step.

Do you see the difference between these pictures and the starting shots?  Go back, look again. I'll wait......

Oh yeah people, when I went to lift my VERY heavy binder of over 400 plates, it caught my pointer finger nail and ripped it all the way down to the quick.  I had no choice but to cut it all the way down.  The rest of my nails will be cut down today.  I was so mad-but my nails have become so bendy from splits and peels that I really do need to cut them down and start over.  Not quite as short as this pointer but more alike than they are now.

What I really need to do is take a week, a month off from polish to just treat my nails-but we all know that ain't happening!

I next added a layer of holo topcoat for sparkle and my funky.  Here are the results. Yes I even funky'd the serious nub.  Here are the results.

I do love this pattern.  I think it's cool.  I really like how this turned out.

Now I must go and chop off the rest of my nails.

Do you know how to convert my file to a .xml?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
