WTF??????
I had to listen to this message several times as well as have one of my coworkers listen to see if I was hearing that correctly. There was no name left or phone number. What a way to start the day. I then called a patient and I instantly recognized the voice as the one who had left me that message. This patient proceeded to then yell at me for about five minutes straight about how I suck. I sat there saying nothing until they stopped yelling.
I then asked, are you done? Then proceeded to calmly tell them that I am not OK with being yelled at, that I take good care of my people and being off one day a week does not make me less of a nurse. They ended up apologizing and I accepted the apology and went on with my work. But the tone of the day had been set.
Good thing I was wearing today's polish! Here is the silly bottle shot.
