Teal Dreams

I know, I know.  You're all tired of looking at my Christmas sweater nails.  I get that I'm off schedule!  I'm going to remedy that today and get back on my every other day posting.

Today's topic is a good one, I think.  You all know I'm a nurse.  Why is it when I call and talk to my patient, who is a man and perfectly capable, that after explaining everything to him, he gets his wife to call me to relay the same damn story?  This happened to me yesterday and no this is not the first time this situation has occurred.  I do not get why men hide behind their wives when it comes to their health.  Plus the wife yesterday was not a pleasant person whatsoever.  I had to ask her to please stop yelling at me and listen to what I had to say.  It was unpleasant that's for sure.

Why is it that men do this?  Do you know a man that is like this?  I have to admit, my ex husband was like this.  Yes I can be unpleasant as well especially when it comes to the health of my loved ones.  I have fired people caring for my family members before.  So I knew where that wife was coming from yesterday.  It made me realize just how awful it can be to be on the receiving end and not the giving end!  But I wonder when and why men gave up taking charge of their own health.

I know I promised you more sweater designs with the previous stamp and trust, they are coming in the next two posts.  For today, I wanted to give you a break from that design you've been staring at for days.

Here is your silly bottle shot.

This is A England St George and Lime Crime Once in a Blue Mousse.  Now I know what you're thinking.  How is a light blue going to go with a green leaning teal holo?  Be patient my friends, for all is to be revealed.

I started with St George and an accent of Mousse.  Here are the starting shots.

Do you see it now?  The shimmer in St George is similar to Mousse!  I think these two are gorgeous together.  I did notice, that a lot of blogs chose St George as their top polish of the year 2012.  I so agree.

Next I stamped with the opposite color using Nailz Craze plate NC03.  This is the other full design opposite the sweater design.  Here is that step.

Now do you see how perfect these two colors go together?  Love this!!

Now as an added bonus, I give you the cutest kitty pictures ever.  When I make my bed in the morning, sometimes Sam gets up and moves, sometimes I just make the bed on top of him.  He loves it.  Here he is at the foot of my bed with the comforter on top of him.

Ignore the drool spot!  Isn't he the cutest thing?  How can you resist a face like that? Here is a close up.
