Frosty the Failure

Today I'm going to be showing you that they can't all be awesome!  As much as we wish they would be-sometimes it's a complete flop.  There are so many things wrong with this mani that I'm almost ashamed to show you.  In reality, we all have these things happen and I like to show that I am not the perfect stamper, funky french chick you all know!  HEHEHE!  Just a little self appreciation there........

Here is the silly bottle shot for today.

This is Bettina Grape (yes it is blue IRL) and Dermelect Moon Kissed and Above It.

I bought these Dermelect during a sale just to try them out. I won't be buying more.  For $14-they should be better than this.  Plus I'm trying to stick to only buying Bettina and Rescue Beauty Lounge this year.  I'm quite sure I won't stick to that because of the OPI Euro Centrale collection, so maybe I'll start after that OPI collection comes out.

The sun was not out for this mani and since it's a huge fail, there aren't many horrible pictures to blind you with.

I started with Moon and an accent of Above It.  Here is that step.

Oh the horror that are my cuticles!  Get some oil or lotion wouldya????  Yes this Moon is a frosty thing.  Sort of pretty, but not something I will probably reach for often.  The blue is sheer and needed thicker layers to get to this opacity.

I wanted to stamp with the opposite color as usual, but the Above It was too sheer. Enter the Bettina.  I used Gals plate GA41 and randomly placed snowflakes.  I wanted a winter scene-that's what the idea was.  Here is that step.

Oh my eyes, my eyes!!!  It's so painful to look at!!  See the dent on my pointer finger? Nice touch don't you think?  You can't even see the snowflakes on the ring finger.  I finished this off with my funky using Bettina Grape.  Here are the results.

I guess this Macro shot doesn't look that awful compared to the other shots, but this is a huge frosty fail in my book.
