Phallic Revisited

Those of you who have been around my blog for awhile, know that I love Illamasqua Phallic. I just love saying Phallic.  I think it's hysterical.  Yes I have a love of silly humor.  I have also decided it was time to show you my mani made with a polish that seems quite popular and has been seen on many blogs.  Now it will be seen on mine.

My poor bird feeder lost its battle with the squirrels.  I got home from work and it was on the ground, broken and defeated.  I couldn't even put it back together because the squirrels had done such a good job of breaking it for good.  I went online and did some research on "squirrel proof" feeders.  Some of them were quite inventive, some were in excess of $100!  I am not going to pay that kind of money just to feed the squirrels. As I continued reading, it seems there is no squirrel proof feeder.  In the reviews, it always ends up saying that the squirrels figured it out.  It might have taken them a minute, but they always got their seeds.  I have to admit, I have a certain respect for a rodent who is that damn smart.

For now, I just put my old one up that is no challenge for the squirrels until I come up with plan B.

Here is today's silly bottle shot.

This is Nails Inc Baker Street, Illamasqua Phallic and Lilacquer Selkie.  I never tire of that Selkie.  I think I may need a back up! This is also a pile of shredded paper.  You must always shred your documents so you don't have identity theft!

I started with Baker Street, which is a bright blue creme and seems to be very popular on the blogs.  I did an accent with Phallic.  Here is that step.

The color of Baker Street matches the shimmer in Phallic.  I swooooooon for Phallic.  It is my favorite dark blue shimmer out there.  It does stain really bad, but I think most blues do no matter what you do.  Next I stamped with the opposite color using plate DRK-A.  Here is that step.

For some reason, Phallic just wasn't cooperating and did not stamp very clearly.  This houndstooth is my favorite pattern to use.  Next I added a layer of Selkie, which is a blue green shimmer color changer and topped it off with my funky.  Here are the results.

Check out that shimmer that Selkie gives this.  I am absolutely in love with this!  I love these two blues together.

So did anyone see the mistake in this mani?  I'm showing you once again, that if you don't point out flaws, no one will notice.  Be honest, did you notice?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
