The 11 polish mani/Guest post deconstructed

I hope you all got to see my guest post on Peace, Love and Polish last weekend.  It was my first one so I wanted to do something special.  If you missed it, you missed a glimpse of what I look like!

Today, I am deconstructing the mani and naming all the polish that I used for that crazy Easter mani.

First up, the silly bottle shot.

Yes-holy crap that is a buttload of polish for just one mani!  Do I see pink in there?? OMG!

This is Bettina Preppy, Barry M Bright Purple, Nails Inc Albert Place, Nails Inc Baker Street, Bettina Bird, Bettina Yellow, Essie Navigate Her, Bettina Green, Essie She's Picture Perfect, Essie No More Film and in the front, Soflajo Dewdrop.  Phew, I didn't think I would make it to the end of that list!

I really wanted to use pastel colors with an Easter feel.  Here are your shots of the base colors.

Sorry for the weird pose.  I didn't figure out a cooler pose til later in the process!  Next I took the darker shade of the color on each finger and stamped with SDP-N with the exception of the yellow nail.  The yellow stamp just didn't show up, so I used the green. I finished it with my funky in the same color I stamped with.  Topped all off with a layer of Dewdrop for sparkle.  Yes, this is an 11 polish mani!  Are you ready??

Can't you just see that sparkle?  Oh how I am swooning for this Dewdrop!  Plus I worked really hard on this mani.  My original idea was to stamp it to look more like Easter eggs but the stamp just wouldn't cooperate so I had to do several redos which you know I refuse to do.  But for the guest post-I wanted this to be perfect.  Yes I wore pink!!!

Are you guys over your shock of pink appearing again?  It was for a special occasion!

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
