My thoughts lately have been about different layering combinations. Trying to come up with the next cool thing. Today I decided I wanted to see what happens when you layer a flakie with a glitter. Yes that's right I said glitter! I have found a glitter I actually am digging right now!
First up, we have the styled silly bottle shot.
Now how cool is this bottle shot? This is Barry M Spring Green, Nails Inc The Wyndham, Nails Inc Kensington and OPI Pirouette My Whistle.
I started with Kensington. This is a blackened teal and I must say as much as I love Nails Inc, this was the first one where the formula just sucked ass. Thick, streaky, unruly it was just horrible. Here are the shots of it.

I know it just looks black here-but it does have a pretty teal feature running through it. I next added a layer of The Wyndham which is a green flakie. Here is that step.

Pretty cool right? You with me so far? Next I did a layer of Pirouette. I am actually loving a glitter-can you believe it? Here is that step.

Still with me? Next I dabbed more green flakies in and around the spaces and topped it off with my funky in Spring Green. Here are the glorious results. Flakies and glitters galore.

I am really loving how the green flakies peak out between the glitters. I got a lot of "looks like St Patrick's Day" comments and yes I guess that is true. I tried doing a layer of a holo on my thumb and it just obliterated the detail of this mani. So I left it as is.
I leave you with a random kitty shot.
Aren't they cute?
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
