I realized the other day that after a whirlwind courtship with Selkie, I had left her behind on the dark shelf lonely and forgotten. It was time to bring her back out and do something great.
Before we get to that, the online dating saga continues. The good time boy texted that while he does want to see me again, he's going to be busy for the next few months. Really? And what do you think I'm going to do wait patiently for you to decide you have time for me? Oh hell no. Fingers don't play that game.
So the other guy whom I have a date with on Saturday and I had our first, second and third phone conversations. Each for over an hour. We are getting along really well and when we aren't on the phone, we are texting back and forth. This is how things are supposed to be. Mutual admiration and respect. We are both excited about our first meeting. I just hope that we are as good in person as we are on the phone. This is the kind of guy that could very well win Fingers' heart. Stay tuned........
We start with today's bottle shot.
This is Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily, Joe Fresh Teal, Ink and Lilacquer Selkie all amongst the detritus of a nail polishing frenzy. These are the used bits of striping tape, the paper towel I use to wipe the polish off my cleaning brush and the paper plate that I use for dotting.
I started with Joe Fresh Teal. It has been forever since I used a Joe Fresh polish! Here are the starting shots.

Isn't this a pretty color? I then added the striping tape, did a layer with Ink and added dots with Aqua Lily. I skipped the step with just the stripes alone. Here is this step.

Pretty cool so far right? I next added a layer of Selkie for shimmer. Here is that step.

Check out that shimmer! Now you see why I am so in love with this Selkie. It is stunning. I then topped it all off with my funky using Aqua Lily. Here are the results.
