Vacation is long over, the suitcases are put away, the fishing rods are stowed in the closet and I went back to work. Some people missed me at work, some didn't even realize I was gone!! Reality is a b*tch!
On my last day of vacation, although I was home, I tried to keep the vacation mentality. The cold air had already arrived in New York while I was there and I decided that I would do an homage to Fall.
Time for a rant/plea for attention. I realize that you all knew that I was on vacation. I did manage to get some posts up so you weren't totally without me. I am ready to get back to my regular every other day schedule, but I noticed that I have been getting very little hits lately. Now I'm no huge blog mind you, but I was getting about 200 hits a day. Lately, I'm barely getting 80. My question is, are you bored with me and my manis or did you just not realize I would be posting while out of town?
I hate to think that you guys are bored. So I need a little feedback here. Should I hang it all up and do something else? Or are you guys still craving my funky french and sarcastic take on life? Please let me know!
We start with today's bottle shot.
These are my babies, as you know, who missed me terribly while I was gone. They haven't left my side for a moment! This is
Piper Polish Peace, Love and Rainbows, Girly Bits Gentle Ginger and Bettina Truffle. I had shown you the other Piper Polish I got previously. This one is a forest green holo. When I saw that, I knew I had to have it.
I started with alternating PLR and Ginger since I just couldn't decide which one to try out first. Here is that step.

I honestly thought this Ginger was going to be a holo. It isn't, but it is gorgeous!!! You know how I am into orange and yellow right now! This PLR was almost a one coater. I wish it had a little more holo goodness, but it is one stunning green. These are perfect Fall colors.
Next I stamped with Truffle using half of an Easter design because I could not find a leaf design in my vast plate collection. Just one that I swear is a marijuana leaf. So this is off SDP plate P. As I said, for those who have this plate, the whole design is actually an Easter motif with baskets and eggs. But with my small nails, I knew I could use the half with the leaves on it. I topped it off with my funky using Truffle on the PLR and PLR on the Ginger. Here are the results.

Isn't this perfect for Fall? Do you get my title now? You know that saying "make like a tree and leave?" I thought this was the perfect mani for that saying! Yes I am weird sometimes. But that's how you guys like me right?
I hope you guys aren't bored with me. I am back and ready to do some cool stuff. I've also been very bad on my no buy and bought way too many new polish. The Fall collections get me every time. I have cut myself off and am going to try to be very good. But just wait til you see the new colors I have coming! You'll see why I couldn't resist!
