Lemon Lime with a Twist.

Doesn't that title just conjur up visions of tropical drinks with umbrellas and sitting on a beach watching the waves?  It does me.  Oh how nice that would be.

I had pictures in my head of how this mani would turn out.  But it didn't really come out the way I had hoped.  For some reason, my camera is spazzing over these bright colors as well so that didn't help.  I love this stamp design so much, I was thinking I would do three manis in a row using it but with different sets of colors.  Haven't made the ultimate decision on that one yet.

Don't really have a story for you today so let's get to it shall we?  Here is your silly bottle shot.

Isn't this all artsy fartsy?  Today we have Bettina Yellow, Barry M Spring Green, Bettina Green Apple and Lilacquer Leshy.  I just discovered Lilacquer and her fab color changers so I'll be playing with those for a bit.

I started with skittles of Yellow and Green.  These are both bright not quite neon cremes.  Here are the starting shots.

Aren't these two just awesome?  Yes I still have my boo boo on my finger.  It's almost healed so hopefully I can do without the X soon!  Next I stamped with MASH plate 50 using Spring Green.  I just love this design.  Here is that step.

How cool is this design?  I just love it!  Next I added a layer of Leshy, which is a sparkle fest of green and yellow.  It is meant to add a subtle shimmer, so it is hard to see in these pictures, but adds awesomesauce in real life.  I topped it off with my funky again using Spring Green.  Here are the final shots-know that my camera is messing with these colors.  The low lamplight shot is the closest to real I could get.

You can really see the yellow shimmer glow in the lamplight shot.  It truly is stunning. That's the twist part of my post title!  So are you guys loving this one?  I wanted to do something that screams summer!  Did I accomplish that?

The MASH plates are out for sale now.  Click here to buy them!  I think I may just use this plate for two more manis.  Just to show what different colors can do with one design.

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
