Color Blocking with Liquid Sky Lacquer and Colors by Llarowe

I have a big announcement to make.  This may officially be the very best mani I have ever done in the past 3 years.  That is a big statement to make.  If Instagram has any say, this mani got my most likes and new followers to date.

Before the big reveal, of course we need to talk shop.  Work has sucked big time lately. I told you how I took on a whole other nurse's job role and it's getting to the point where I just can't keep up and get my work done.  That's a scary thought for me as I pride myself on doing a good job.  I haven't mentioned anything to my boss yet as I'm just hoping things will calm down or the new nurse will start soon.

The latest from the lazy coworkers?  Well this month's mandatory staff meeting crap was about competencies that JCAHO requires yet we haven't done them in years.  New bosses, new stuff.  So we were asked what we wanted to have as our yearly competencies.  It was 0730 and I wasn't yet awake and I hate these type of meetings so I basically just slept through it.  A few days later, my lazy peeps hand me a printout from the internet competencies my job title does through the national organization. Sorry I have to be vague here.  Just know that what she handed me proves that I'm the only one doing the job correctly.  It also tells me she has nothing better to do than troll the internet looking for this kind of crap.

I caught my boss in the hall and we had a little giggle at their expense.  It's kind of cool to be able to giggle with my boss, who thinks I'm the bomb! I hope she never leaves! HEHEHEHE.

It just validates what I've known all along.  That made my crappy week a tiny bit better.

Now on to awesomeness.  I remembered the bottle shot this time!

This is Colors by Llarowe Dirty Diana, Liquid Sky Lacquer Can't Be Tamed, Enchanted Polish Djinn and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

I started with a layer of OPI followed by a layer of Djinn.

If you look close, you can see the sparkle of Djinn.  Next I taped off a color block pattern, added some dots and the possible greatest mani I've ever done is born.

What makes this perfect?  My lines are crisp with no flaws, the colors are amazing together and it just works.  I may have to play with more color blocking for a while!

What do you think?  Is this my all time greatest mani?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
