Work has been busy as hell. I haven't even been able to do my regular work. My next lung cancer clinic so far has 18 patients and just me to run it. I'm going to go insane. It's weird how it comes and goes in spurts. Sometimes I have nothing to do and others I have so much I can't keep up. Right now, I'm having one of those times.
I've also added on more responsibilities on myself. Why the hell do I do that??? Well remember when we had that meeting and I didn't know that they weren't expecting me to take on more work? Well I offered and they took me up on it. I have literally taken on a whole other nurse's job. Well, maybe not a whole nurse, but most of her job description I am now doing. So on top of the normal full time work I've been doing in part time hours, I have added almost a whole other full time job detail on myself.
I must be insane. It's the only logical explanation. We are told it's temporary. The MD has told me that he already has a new nurse coming, that she ain't stupid, and she's just going through the orientation we all had to do when we started a new job. I just hope she gets there soon. I'm truly having a hard time keeping up.
Oh and my coworkers who are supposed to be getting off their ass and doing a clinic? What a damn joke. They look at the schedule and see there might only be two patients on the list. Oh they figure, the MD doesn't need help for two patients, I'll just sit right here and not go out there. WTF? Where is my boss and her enforcing this crap? It's not my job to tattle and I won't do it, as I figured the whole situation was just too good to be true.
I'm over the whole thing.
Onto more important things, like today's awesomeness. Here is the silly bottle shot.

This is my first Lily of the Valley from my garden for this year. It's my favorite flower. Isn't it gorgeous?
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
