Remember back in high school when you had a crush on a boy and you'd write all over your notebook? You'd write your name with his last name surrounded by a heart? Yeah, I've regressed all the way back there. It's disgusting. I'm sick of me already, aren't you?
Why is it that a new love does this to us? We go along, all bad ass and tough, then a man comes along and suddenly you're all smiles and light. People at work are like, "what's wrong with you?" Trust me, I am happy and all is well with the new BF. These are just random thoughts that have been roaming through my brain. I like being all bad ass-it's what I do.
Here's an example. The other day, I was driving along, and there was this huge red pickup truck in front of me going slow. I have a progression of hand gestures that I use when people don't get out of my way. I noticed on the back of this truck, that there were Christmas Candy Canes and a statement of, "we will see you December 24." Well, she was also talking on the cellphone as well as not getting out of my way. So after several hand gestures, I pulled out the big guns and flashed my middle finger-well manicured of course. Finally, she got over and as I passed, I looked into the truck and there in the passenger side was Santa Claus. I kid you not, it was the local old dude that plays Santa around the holidays.
I'm going to Hell people and getting coal in my stocking this Christmas! I just had to laugh.
On to today's mani. Here is your silly bottle shot.
This is
Elevation Polish Matsuda and A England Jane Eyre. I thought red would be perfect for my teenage regression as well as Santa story!
I started with Matsuda. This is one stunning perfect red with the most gorgeous shimmer that looks pink in some light, blue in others. It is in my top 5 most favorite reds. This went for sale in September and most likely will be back for November 7. I did an accent nail with Jane Eyre because the shimmer in this almost matches the red of Matsuda.

Swoon people! Are you not in love with these two together? I am loving this Gothic collection from A England. It is my idea of vamp perfection. I love the shimmer in this Matsuda. Go back and check it out again. Notice how it brings out the shimmer in the Jane Eyre. Stunning.
My thoughts were that I was going to stamp with some sappy hearts or something of that sort, but I came across the perfect design to match my situation. I used the opposite color and Cheeky plate CH53 from their summer collection. Here is that step.

I did text this to my BF and he loved it! He actually thinks it's cool that I blog and loves my nail art. So that is definitely a plus for him. Most guys either make fun or could care less. I like that about him.
Is this not the most gorgeous pair of reds going? I am so in love with these it's not even funny.
Is it pathetic or sweet that I did this mani? I promise you this blog will not become all pink and light and sappy. When I saw this design, I just had to use it.
