For those who have been going along with me on my online dating adventure, the end is here. I met someone. Someone really great. He didn't message me with "hey sexy, want to talk?" or my favorite, "want to fight zombies with me?" What he did ask was "If I said Mystery Science Theater 3000, what would you say?" Now people, that is the way to get my attention. Throw something so completely random and yet so freakin awesome. I replied, "I would say, I used to love to watch that show!" And off we went-hours of texting back and forth, finding out that we are very much alike in our ways. He actually reads books! I read a ton-every day. This is the first guy I've met that actually reads as much as I do. We also have this love of punk rock, Ska and rock a billy. He even knew who "Let's Go Bowling" are. Not many people even know who that band is-when he told me he knew and loved them? Well I was hooked.
We literally texted for hours and hours for two days straight. We made a date for last Wednesday and met up at a bookstore. Apropos no? We had instant attraction, instant chemistry. I'm not just talking physical, I'm talking mental. It's freakin crazy. We both feel like we've known each other for a long time. Like we are connected somehow. I think it's because we both have similar crazy 80s backgrounds.
I must confess, I never thought this was going to happen. I truly felt like quitting and not looking anymore. After our date, which lasted two hours, we both deleted our online profiles unbeknownst to the other. When we realized we had done that, it sealed it even more for us.
Now because of this, I have been neglecting my blog and my nails. I promise I am not going to be one of those women who lose themselves in a new boyfriend and forget all about you out there-just not going to happen.
I don't have a nail art mani for you today, because I really loved this color all on its own, and because I was otherwise preoccupied on my date that when I got home, I was not even thinking about finishing up my nails.
Here is the silly bottle shot for you.
This is A England Tess D'Urbervilles from the new Gothic collection. I finally got my set in! This is one stunning blackened green and I just thought it was so gorgeous, I didn't want to cover it up.
Here are the shots I do have of the swatches.

So that's my story people. I am off the online dating site and am happy with the man I found. He is so unlike any man I've ever dated. I think he may be around for awhile.
I was asked to do a guest post on Online Dating Box-I will head over to there now and submit my story. Truly never believed it would have a happy ending.
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
