The magic Brick effect

I have something super cool to show you guys today! I got my mojo back after my last post and am excited to show this to you.  My friend Oreo and I did a swap and she sent me a bunch of Joe Fresh polishes that are only available in Canada. You rock Oreo! I have seen these on many blogs and have been craving them.  I am trying to obtain polish from around the world instead of just doing the same old american ones.

Today we have Joe Fresh Brick and hints of Caramel.  The bottles have been at a piano bar, so are slightly tipsy.

How funny is that picture?? Now Brick is exactly that color. The ruddy rusty color of a brick.  The formula was a little runny and there's no way the brush will reach the bottom of the bottle, but I have yet to ever come close to the bottom so I don't really care. They are also only 6ml vs 13ml like most bottles.  But for $3 who's complaining?  Not me!

This color looks similar to me to Nails Inc St Pancras and Deborah Lippmann Single Ladies.  I have posted both of those before.  You can always check out my nail gallery on my blog to see all the art and colors I have done in one place.  Check it out-it's awesome!

Then I took Joe Fresh Caramel and did my funky french tips.

I purposely didn't do any fancy stamping or anything too elaborate. Why you ask?  Because I also got in six of the CND effects polishes.  I thought it'd be fun to play with them to see what they do.  Here are four of the six I got.  One on each finger.

How freakin' cool is this??? My thumb is the original mani. From left to right we have Violet Shimmer, Emerald Shimmer, Ice Blue Shimmer and Lavender Pearl.  I now have five different colors from one mani.  Are you dying yet? Cause I am! I am wondering what these effects will do to other polishes I have.  So the next bunch of posts will have these effects in them.  Until that is, I get bored of course!

I have two sparkle effects that I need to show you.  The bummer is, they have no silver in the collection. Yes a silver sparkle, but that's it.  I would love to see more of the pearl effect.  It's kind of duochromey and iridescent like a pearl is. It's awesome!

What do you guys think?
