Classic with a twist

It finally snowed here! Woke up to two inches of snow and ice, the kind that sticks to the trees and looks pretty kind.  Made for a pain to dig my car out for work, but oh so pretty.  Today it's like 12F out there, which for Virginia is cold.  I love it.

I have a confession to make.  My nails have been naked since New Year's Day.  Yup. I went naked for three days.  The first time in over three years that I can remember.  I just didn't have time on New Year's Day since I was busy and when I finally got home, just didn't feel like it.  You ever have days like that?  I just spent the past weekend doing many many nails as I've shown you, and I was just too lazy.  I did put on some nail treatment because if I don't have something on them, they peel, crack and break off.  I did do a complete manicure as in cuticle removal, filing, shaping and exfoliating.  I'm finding areas that are on the verge so I need to slap some polish on them quick!

Oh and I finally remembered to take pictures of my Pandora-like bracelet to show you the newest additions. Here are some shots of it.

Now from left to right- there is Emerald Isle, Abyss, spacer, Navajo, Loon, spacer, Cherry Nougat and Kalico Kitty. These are Fenton Art Glass and hand made.  I love them!  The two on the left and the Cherry Nougat I got from Santa and the spacers were from St Nicholas.  Aren't these gorgeous beads?????

My mom rocked it this year. Thank you mom!

Now on to the mani at hand.  I realized I finally had a little free edge and decided I needed to celebrate that fact.  Here is your silly bottle shot.

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Moonlight and Roses and White Christmas.

I started with a full mani of Roses.

Yup, a full pink mani.  In the wintertime.  Breaking the fashion rules all over again. HAHA.

Next I stamped with MoYou Mother Nature plate 1.  Then I funkyed then added a layer of White Christmas over it for holo tips.  Here are the very cool results.

Oh how I just love a classic French and adding the holo happiness just makes it that much better in my mind! I am totally in love with this.

Here is a picture of the plate I used.

You can see the pattern I used at the top left of this gorgeous plate.

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
