As you read this post, I will officially be in Canada fishing. But I am actually writing this the day before I leave. Today is officially Checkers birthday. She is 10! I can't believe she's been with me for that long already. I still remember the day I brought her home. She was 7 weeks old, fit in the palm of my hand and actually was so sick she almost died. I remember feeding her with syringes and boiling water for steam, it was a scary time. This morning, she was running all over the house like she was still a kitten. She was the cat in my last post.
Now, both cats are depressed because they saw my luggage out. They know what that means. Momma's leaving. That's definitely the hardest part! I have the car half packed and the house chores done, so I'm writing this real fast for you!
Oh and the latest online dating story? Dude writes me "just liked that sexy t-shirt you're wearing in your profile" and "it's what's in the t-shirt that's so sexy." I tell him that I'm more than a set of boobs and his reply? "I'm on the road for business and really horny." Swoon right? WRONG! Do men really think that this is what makes a woman weak at the knees? If so, they need to update their handbook!
Enough on that. Here is today's silly bottle shot.
This is A England Morgan Le Fay, Orly Au Champagne, Estee Lauder Bete Noire and Ciate Jewel. Have you guys seen the latest A England colors? I am so buying all of those!
Anywho, I had this idea in my head for several days. It actually came out pretty damn cool. I started with two layers of Orly and one layer of Morgan. Here is that step.

This is the coolest pearlescent finish ever! I so wish the sun was out for this! Yes I am back to the nubs. For some reason, my nails are literally mush at the ends. I don't know what I'm going to do. Fishing is certainly not going to help that!!
I next added a layer of Jewel. Now I thought this was a clear base. Had I known it was blue, I would not have bothered with this cool white base coat. Here is that step.

This is cool as sh*t!! I've been waiting to get this Jewel for a while now! It is holo bar glitter and tiny! Here are hairy nails for sure! Oh if only I had sun! See how the blue covered up my cool white base? That's the only bummer to this.
Next I stamped with SDP plate M. Lately I have been getting a lot of questions about these plates. I figured you all knew. These are Shirley's Dashica Plates-SDP. You can buy them from dashicabeauty.com, it is located in The Netherlands. They are pricey, but oh so worth it to me. Here is that step. I used the Estee Lauder to stamp with.

Look at that hairy mani! Perfect for a road trip! I added about 250 more songs to my ipod and now have over 1000 songs to jam to in the car tomorrow!
