I know, I know. It's been days since I posted. I've been having a rough week, not feeling well and having loss of mojo. Do you ever have days/weeks like that?
Plus it's been unbearably hot here the past week and it just wears on you after awhile. I did get my vacation changed so that's a plus but I have another staff meeting on Monday and I'm just over it. Remember how I told you they were going to make the others do their job like I do? Well it's a meeting about that. Part of me sort of believes they are trying to do away with the job title and have us do other things. So on Friday, I printed out a whole butt load of articles and studies that prove that cancer patients report better outcomes if they have a nurse navigator/coordinator assigned to them. Just my little way of showing them we matter. It's still a fairly new job description in the country and I think places are still trying to figure out what the parameters of the job should encompass.
Of course, the only articles I could find were on breast cancer. Gonna have my little rant now. There are more cancers that kill more people than breast cancer. It kills me that the world only sees boobs and pink. I deal with the most deadly, lung cancer and you hardly ever hear about that. Just makes me a little bit bitter that's all. Rant over.
I keep wondering if I'm gonna see the baby cicadas hatch and fall from the trees. I can't believe that after the sheer number of them I had in my yard that I wouldn't but I honestly don't know how big or small they are. Nor do I know when they are supposed to hatch. Can you imagine? Hanging out and having little baby cicadas fall on your head? Just makes me shudder.
I think the other reason I haven't been posting is that my nails are in such bad shape right now. As I grow out the old nails, it's just a peeling weak nightmare and I'm a little ashamed and thinking I may need to go naked for a bit and oil up. But then I realize, I have such new pretties to show you-I couldn't let you down.

Nothing like rainbows to brighten your day right? Next I stamped with Euro and Cheeky jumbo plate 4 Tropical Holiday. I have absolutely no idea what this design is supposed to be. Maybe you guys can tell me what you think it is. Here is that step.

Even though I have no idea what this is, I am loving these two blues together. There's always something very cool about mixing a holo with a cream. I still have tons more holos to show you, can you believe that?
