Growing up, my dad was a milkman. He was the middle man between the milk bottling plant and the stores and restaurants. When he first started, people actually left their orders on the outside of the house and my dad would deliver the dairy stuff right to their house. Isn't that crazy?
Even though that sounds glamorous, we got the outdated dairy to use up at home. I'm talking outdated yogurt, milk that kind of stuff. It was still good, just couldn't be sold past the sell by date. To this day, I can still smell a carton of milk or cream that is outdated and be able to tell if it's still good or not. It's a gift!
The one awesome thing was, we could pick out what flavor ice cream or bars we wanted to have around the house. My dad is a tried and true vanilla man. I hate vanilla, but love chocolate chip ice cream. We had fudgesicles, creamsicles and ice cream sandwiches around as well as popsicles all the time. You just climbed on the back of dad's truck and got what you wanted.
For me personally, I was never a creamsicle fan. Just did not like the flavor. I was a fudgesicle girl all the way. The one thing I do miss from my dad's company was the New York sharp cheddar cheese he used to get. Man was that stuff good. I would love to taste that stuff again.
Why am I reminiscing about this? Well you know I always have a method to my madness right? It was all be revealed my friends.
One last piece of news before we get on with it. I do believe the cicadas have moved on or died. I can still hear them way off in the distance, but the ones I showed you hanging out on the front porch are all dead on the ground. It's amazing how silent it is. I had forgotten what that was like. It also seems there are more birds chirping and squirrels around now that they have gone. Trust me, I will not be missing them at all.
Now on with the mani at hand. Here is the silly bottle shot for today.
This is Rescue Beauty Lounge Opaque Nude and Enchanted Polish Sour Patch Kid.

Isn't this holo gorgeous? I had to file my nails down some, as they grow out, the damaged parts are needing to be removed. Think I need to go a little shorter again. Trust me, this oil is working miracles!
Next I stamped with the opposite color using Cheeky jumbo plate 9 Wild at Heart. Here is that step.

I had to add tons of pictures just so you could see just how sparkly and rainbow filled this holo is. It's simply magic. I could not stop staring for real.
Are you a vanilla person or what? I never understood why people love vanilla when there are so many different flavors out there! Just one of life's mysteries I guess.
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
