Colors by Llarowe Seasons of Change

Wow, I hadn't realized I hadn't posted since August 24! I really needed a break though.  I just got back from my yearly trek to Canada to fish.  It's the time of year where I take off twelve whole days from work to just unplug, unwind and just be.

Today is the last day of this vacation and I'm already dreading going to work tomorrow.  I have been sleeping in big time.  0500 is going to hit awfully early in the morning.

I kept track of all the miles I put on my car for this trip.  1567 miles total! My car was so gross when I got home. Bugs splattered all over the front hood and just dirty inside and out.  I've since vacuumed and washed the crap out of it.  So aside from the water spots, it's back to it's original shiny self.

So, it took nine hours to get to my mom's house.  That was Day 1.  The next day, we drove to Canada and damn if I didn't catch a fish worth keeping.  I don't know if it's the lake being low, the higher temperatures or it's been overfished that is causing the bad fishing.  All I was catching were babies that would swallow the hook and I'd end up killing them ripping their guts out to get the hook back.

That's NOT my idea of fun.

For those who wonder, yes if they are big enough, I keep them and eat them.  And if I don't take the hook out of these babies, they die anyway and the seagull who grabs the fish will get the hook in them.  It's just not fun when you don't catch anything.

Remember my mom was going on her Alaska trip so she left Wednesday evening and I was there at camp for the first time in my entire life.  It was weird.  You see I've been going to camp since I was 3. I was potty trained there.  But I've never been there alone.  I was supposed to stay there  until Friday morning, but by lunchtime Thursday, it was raining and I just couldn't sit there and read a book for six hours.

So I drove back to mom's house to hang out with my brother's family.  I bought six beads to complete my two Pandora style bracelets.  The clerk was all like, now you have to start another one.  But for now, I'm just sticking with these two.  What I did was buy my 10 year old niece her first bracelet and bead so she can start collecting.

I got her a bracelet with an expander so as she grows, the bracelet grows with her.  I hope she keeps it and that it reminds her of me.  I'm not the greatest aunt in the world but I try.

All right.  I'll write more about my trip next post! Here is Colors by Llarowe Seasons of Change.

This is kind of a blue green light holo.  I think it's gorgeous!

Stay tuned for more!

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
