Something I may or may not have told you in my tales here. I am a sucker for a classic french mani. Before I discovered the dark vampy colors I so love now, I always sported a french mani whenever I could. It seems there is a stigma attached to it nowadays, and I'm not quite sure why. It's looked upon as tacky. I never thought that.
Maybe someone out there can tell me when and why it became taboo to sport a classic french? You all know me pretty well by now and know that I don't care what others think about me. I am who I am and if you don't like it, well I can't help you.
Are we ready for one of my favorites manis of all time? In case you didn't know this, I always put my manis up on Pinterest before they hit here. So if you ever want to see what's coming or skip my stories.....
Here is your silly bottle shot.
Damn that's a lot of polish! Well if you had clicked over to the link, you would know why! HAHA!
Anywho, in front we have all Lime Crime pastels. Lavendairy, Parfait Day, Once in a Blue Mousse, Pastelchio and Crema de Limon. In back we have Rescue Beauty Lounge Thank you and Bettina Marshmallow.
The only bummer is the sun did not come out at all for this. I wore this for two whole days, staring and hoping I could catch some sun shots. All this means is, I'll have to do this one again with different colors!
I started with a base of Thank you. This is new and a nude with pink shimmer. Normally, I use Essie Nude Beach as my classic french base. Here are the starting shots.

Next I added dots a la Heather. Here is that step.

Lastly, I added a layer of holo topcoat. Now since the sun didn't come out, I liked the mani as it is before the holo. But I know had the sun come out, the end result would have been so much better!

Thank you Heather for being so awesome! I wish I could come up with great ideas like yours!
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
