Not Quite Right

The sun decided to take a day off and it rained all day long.  I actually love a chilly, rainy day especially when I have the day off and can just curl up with my cats and a blanket.

Most of the time, my camera rebels and turns all purples into blue.  Imagine my surprise when these pictures actually came out purple.  Not the right true to life purple, but purple nonetheless.  I was shocked.  No my camera does not have the white balance thingy some of you have told me to look for.  Maybe if I get really popular, I'll buy one of those fancy SLR cameras.  Even though I don't know what SLR stands for!

Just looked up the winning lottery numbers for Mega Millions which was almost 200 million and Power Ball which was almost 600 million.  I didn't win squat.  Just texted my friend to let her know we had to go to work since we didn't win.  How awesome would that be to win that much money?  Crazy awesome.  Even if I just won some of it.  I only play a dollar at a time, although this time, I spent $4.  I also only play after it has gone above 100 million.  Anything less just isn't enough for me!!!  I do have to have standards right?  I don't want to be a gambleholic as I say. Yes I made that word up.  I like it.

Here is the silly bottle shot.

This is Illamasqua Baptiste and Bettina Butterfly.  Even though these are seen as purple, they are not the correct purple.  Keep that in mind.

I started with Butterfly and an accent of Baptiste.  Here is that step.

Butterfly has this gorgeous shimmer throughout and if the sun were out, Baptiste would have been glowing.

I next stamped with the opposite color with Cheeky jumbo plate 1 Viva Mexico. Here is that step.

This is some type of cool Mexican pattern.  I thought it was pretty.  I finished with my funky as always.  Here are the results.

Close Up

Overall, I'm ecstatic that this is even showing as purple!  Even if it isn't the correct purple!  I wonder why all of a sudden my camera is cooperating?

Do you play the lottery?  What are your rules?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
