Speaking of cheating, once again, I am back to the online dating game. Too busy guy, was just too busy. There was no cheating involved, it was just a bad segway! I only saw him in February and we've been texting for six months-no phone calls, just texting. It's not what I had envisioned a mature relationship to be. It's sad because I really did like the guy.
Here's some classic funnies that I have gotten so far. One guy said, 'no hands in the pockets in photos'. Yes one of my hands is in my pocket. My profile pictures are of me in my bathroom mirror. Another guy complained that my photos are only in the bathroom. That if I didn't have others, I must be friendless. Really? You got that from a bathroom picture? My feeling is, the picture is accurate, it's what I look like and I'm not about to put out other photos to the internet for a bunch of strangers. Screw em if they don't like it. Then there are the ones who write paragraphs and leave their phone number. Really? I'm going to just call up a random stranger? Then there are the profiles with no photos at all, yet they message me. When I tell them I don't talk to people with no photo up, they get mad. I ask them if they really would have messaged me if my photo wasn't there. Usually shuts them up.
The funniest thing is when I read guys' profiles and they've gotten misled by women. One guy was ranting about women who put they are athletic, but "have a spare tire". I actually messaged that guy, feeling sorry for him. Some guys write that they aren't going to pay your phone bill on the first date-apparently women ask men this! Gives us good ones a bad name I tell ya! I'm told there are some women who just blatantly ask for a one night stand. This is the kind of crap I have to weed through. Plus I live in redneck country. No offense to rednecks, it's just not my type.
It's sad I'm back to square one. At least it gives me good fodder for my blog right?
