Streetside Brown Mustard

Now there's a title for you right?  This is like the fourth post I've written in a row and my brain has run out of cool ideas!

It has been quite a while since I've shown you any Elevation Polish and I feel bad about that!  I've been slacking in my duties to help convert the world to love the brown polish. One of the colors for today was actually sold back in December.  I decided today was a good day to wear it.

Once again I have broken a nail so this will be the last post with some free nail until I can convince them to grow back and not break.  I am so frustrated with the health of my nails.  I know that winter is the worst time for nails but come on.  This is getting ridiculous.  I have spent so much on different products promising to work miracles and am faithfully moisturizing all day long.  I just can't get them to grow without the peels and the splits.  I have tried Julep, ProStrong, Trind, Rejuvacote, Dermelect, Lemony Flutter, cuticle oils of all brands and just can't come up with something that works for me.  Does anyone have any suggestions other than keeping them as permanent nubs?

I'm even thinking about gels but they're illegal at work.  I would totally do it anyway, but since I got busted with pink in my hair, I got to lay low for awhile!

Anywho, here is the silly bottle shot for today and yes I get that I'm lacking in inspiration for this as well.  I seem to be in a slump......

This is Elevation Polish Duo Sample #1, Streetside NYC and Bettina #195.  I just checked and this Streetside is still available!

I started with SS and an accent of #1.  Here are the starting shots.

Oh yeah people.  This is one gorgeous brown mustard cream with some hidden shimmer.  I think it goes so well with #1 which is a gorgeous shimmery brown.  I next stamped using the Bettina and SS with Nailz Craze plate NC03.  Here is that step.

See what I did?  I turned the design I did three different combos of for a whole new look!  I have to admit, this was not my idea, but the lovely Marta's at ChitChatNails.  I had told her I was going to use her idea when I saw her design!

I thought this needed a little something so I added a layer of holo topcoat and my funky as always. Here are the results.

I'm pretty sure these two colors are not for everyone, but I think they are just stunning together.  This yellow is not your typical everyday sunshine yellow.  Even though my bedroom is painted sunshine yellow!

Please go and check out the latest at Elevation Polish.  Lulu is really putting out some gorgeous things.  She restocks on the 7th and 22nd of the month.  All the details are on her website.

Who has some new ideas for me to try on my nails?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
