So eons ago, I signed up to be in the Tweezerman Ambassador program. They would send you one of their newest designed tweezers or other gadget and you would write a post and send the link to them on their site.
It's been so long since I had gotten anything that I totally forgot all about it. Then I came home the other day and there was a big box on my porch. I immediately ran through my mind whether I was expecting any orders and realized I wasn't for once. I looked at the return address and realized where it came from.
Side note, dammit I just cracked the corner of one of my nails. Damn you Diana for being right and telling me I should have let you trim them down last time. HEHEHE. You know I love you Diana! I shall have to use my gel polish to fix it before it falls off.
Ok back to the program. Here is what I got.
Take a look at this! How awesome does this look? But for the neon pink polish, I'm happy! HAHA!
Now let's look at each one individually.
This is one of those four sided buffing blocks for polishing and shining up your nails. What's so cool about these? See the yellow things on the right? Those are refills for the block. Yup, once you've used up the buffer stuff on the block, you peel it off and restick on a new one. There are four refills per side in this package. I think that's very cool.
This is something I won't be using at the moment. It's a type of hair remover for your face. It also has a little travel tweezer in there as well. I may attempt to try this on my arm to see if it removes hair, but at the moment, I don't have any hair on my upper lip.
This looks like a very cool thing. I will be trying this out. It's a mini razor for the bikini line and brows. The razor part actually folds into the brush handle. Here in the package it is out just so you can see the blade part.
This is the product I'm excited about. It's a one minute pedicure scrub. I have dry feet and will definitely be using this one!
Lastly, there is a neon pink polish. For all you pink lovers out there!
If you're interested in any of these products, you can go to the Tweezerman website and get them for yourself!
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?

Chaos and Crocodiles Interrogation
So I know a lot of you probably have read 50 Shades of Grey. I know I have and I really liked them. I have not seen the movie yet, but most likely will when mom visits this month.
Mom is now on the fourth of five books so far by author Sylvia Day. She writes books with "adult content" but it's basically sex like 50 Shades. Mom and I like to laugh that they are porn books and that I'm not allowed to tell people she's reading them.
Whoops. Don't be mad mom!
I haven't read any yet, but will pick up the first one after I finish the one I just started last night. I just don't understand how there can be five books, with the same two characters and still have some new sex thing to write about. I mean come on people. Mom says these people do it all over the place four times a day. How do you get any work done? That's my first thought. Not you go people. Just sounds all very tiring to me.
How many different ways and places are there to do it to have written five books about it? Oh well, I guess I will find out and get back to you once I've started the series.
Those who live for Stephen King-know that he has a new book coming out this month. I have already preordered it. I hope it's a good one. I so miss the days of the books where his stories scared the crap out of me. Lately, not so much.
I wonder if he's run out of things to say or if the accident he had ruined his creativity. Only he knows I guess.
I don't remember if I told you I bought a textbook on Embryology. Not because I like kids, but more because the human body fascinates the hell out of me and I want to know how one cell can turn into a human. How does this cell know it's going to be a hand and this one a liver? I know it's in the genetics and DNA crap, but stuff migrates and moves around and if just one of those things doesn't do what they're supposed to you have health issues, birth defects etc.
Yeah, I like learning for fun. Call me a geek.
Now let's get to this gorgeous orange holo! Silly bottle shot time!
This is Chaos and Crocodiles Interrogation from the Secret Agents Set.
It's a stunner.
Now you all know I live for linear holos like this. And I have a thing for orange!!!
Next, get ready for it-I did my very first leopard print. I used Mundo Black and White.
Do you see the difference between the two light sources? I could stare at this all day long. I'm sure my leopard needs work. It's my first one-any suggestions for me?
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?

Enchanted Polish April 2015, Bettina Ambrosia
Today may just be my last post talking about Stupid.
Or not.
I'm undecided. One of my coworkers came to me recently telling me how she had clocked in, then disappeared for three hours. Only the lady who does all her work for her knew where she was and she ain't talking. I immediately got pissed (natch) and went to storm off and tell the boss. But my coworker got mad and said don't you dare tell. She said it will all be revealed or some sh*t like that.
How is it going to be revealed if no one tells? Anyway, I walked away saying don't tell me these things anymore. It infuriates me how much work I do and how little she does.
I presented this notion to my Facebook group as a morals question. Should I or shouldn't I? Seems the general consensus was I should not. That bosses don't like to hear from whiny, complaining employees anymore than they like people who do no work. But it's not up to me to police my coworkers.
Somewhere along the line, I forgot this.
I used to keep my head down, do my work and leave without getting involved in the drama. I don't quite recall when I stopped doing that. I appreciated the advice my groupies gave and have decided that I will go back to minding my own business and doing my job to the best of my abilities.
One thing I do know however? That lady who does all Stupid's work is retiring June 19. At least that's what she's saying at the moment. She's been retired and come back and then said she's re-retiring for a very long time now. What I do know is that if she really does leave this time? Stupid is finally going to have to tow the line for a job she doesn't even know how to do.
I am secretly thrilled at the notion of seeing her finally not be coddled any more.
Oh and that meeting I told you about? Never happened. Seems the bosses don't want to hear them whine either!
So I may still tell you readers my Stupid stories as I know a lot of you love them, but I will no longer get involved in her day to day NON activity.
Now let's get to this. Here is the silly bottle shot.
This is Enchanted Polish April 2015, Bettina Ambrosia and Mundo Pink.
I started with all April.
For the first time in forever-I have outdoor sun pictures! I have to say I am in love with this polish. April is my birthday month and I am happy with this color choice.
Next I did my funky and some dot flowers. They sort of need work, but man did people on Instagram love this one!
Pretty cool eh? Someone commented on my IG post-asking if I was in love as I did pink and flowers. No people, not in love, just once in a while, I feel the need to be girly and do some pink.
Now back under the rock I go.
Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?

NexGen Update Session
I thought I'd take a post and spend some time answering questions I see people asking when they do a Google search. It's crazy, but my NexGen post is by far my top read post ever.
You remember how I started.
This was how my nails looked before and after my very first NexGen application. I had to have tips at that time. Since then, it's been nine months and I no longer need the tips, as my nails have grown out.
Here are some of the questions I see searched for:
1) Can you polish on top of NexGen? Yes you can. All of my photos of late, are of regular polish on top of NexGen like you see in my picture. If you're not one to change your polish like I do, NexGen does comes in all sorts of cool colors that you can choose from. I use the color sheer pink.
2) Can you file NexGen nails? Yes you can. You will need a stronger grit file, but yes you can certainly do that. I used to file and shape my nails right before I was to get a fresh set put on. While this is ok, it doesn't leave any room for shaping after the gel dip is applied. So I stopped doing that. Yes length can be clipped down with nail clippers before the final hardener is applied in the salon.
3) How do you remove NexGen nails? Simply by soaking in pure acetone. It takes about ten minutes or so. Because of this though, if you change polish like I do, you can only use non acetone remover. It works, just takes more time.
4) Can you do fills instead of a getting a full set every time? No. You really do need to soak off the gel and start fresh. Because of the way it is applied, by dipping the nail into a tub of powder, there really isn't any way to just dip in the fill in area.
5) NexGen is a brand, so if you're looking for a salon you want to google 'gel dip'. That's what the technique is called. My mom's salon uses a brand called ANC-American Nail Company. So it just depends on what your area salons use.
6) How often do you have to do a new set? This depends on how fast your nails grow. Mine grow very fast, but as you can see from my before picture, they come out unhealthy and break. For me, I get mine done every two weeks. My mom goes every three weeks. It also depends on whether you can ignore the growth gap. I can't.
7) How much does it cost? Depends on where you live. I pay $40, mom pays $31.
8) How long does it take? For me from soak off to out the door is one hour.
How my nails look now.
Here are some examples of my nails now. These are my nails and not tips. Personally, lately I have done three dips instead of two as I've just been too rough and broken too many nails. Since I've gone with the three dips, I haven't broken any. I also had gotten way too crazy with the length as I never had long nails before-now I do a much more normal length.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to use my message me button under my picture, or leave me a comment!
