My fever lasted for five days! That was miserable. I missed two days of work and the Monday showdown with the lazy nurse. I decided she's just not worth it. I did do a few manis while sick though!
What is worth it is my mom. She's in the hospital as we speak. I'm not going to go into details, but if you would, light a candle that she gets better soon! This is the time when I really hate living so far away from home. I can't be there for things like this. It's not life threatening at this time or else I would drop everything and go be with her. That actually happened back in 2004-spent two months taking care of her. So far, it's not as serious as it was back then. Still, I wish I were closer at times like this.
Because of my flu and my mom being sick, I've been neglecting my blog reading and commenting. Just want you all to know, I'm not ignoring your gorgeous manis! I'm going to get back to commenting very shortly.
Got nothing on the man sitch. Thought I had a real cutie-but I woke up this morning to find he had deleted his profile. So I guess that tells me something eh?

This is Rescue Beauty Lounge Iconoclast, Chick Polish in Gr8 Gray Owl and Cult Nails Disciplined.
I had seen on other blogs that Disciplined was very sheer and I am way too lazy to do thin layers. So I started with a layer of Owl followed by a layer of Disciplined. I did my accent nail in Iconoclast. Here are the starting shots.

Yes this is pretty, but I'm not a big Cult Nails fan. The formula is just too thin for my preference. I may add this to my blog sale.
Next I stamped with the opposite color using plate SDP-M. Here is that step.

I do like this so far! I ended with my funky after a layer of Northern Nights holo top coat. Man I love this stuff!! Here are the results.

You can see where I got my inspiration for this in the cloudy sky behind! I just love black and gray, black and white just stunning to me. And that little kick of sparkle? NICE!
