Enchanted Polish Up in Smoke, Dark Fantasy, To Die For

Sitting here, Checkers in my lap purring up a storm, burning more music to my iphone-Joss Stone and Perez Prado-the Mambo King! Still no word on my iphone 6plus.  Damn Apple what the hell? It's been three and a half weeks and I'm still waiting. I sure hope they don't make me wait until November 3 as the email says. Wow that would suck.

I was doing my doctor conference this past Friday and one of the pathologists-who by the way is HOT-but looks like he's a metrosexual-waxed eyebrows, bow tie-but HOT, was all taunting me with his iphone 6-which the hospital paid for.  Must be nice. It's a nice phone, but I'm glad I went bigger with the plus.

Got my new glasses and it seems the RX is wrong.  My up close reading is great, but my distance is now gone.  I can't see a damn thing that's not in front of my face!  I'm not one of those people who are gonna take their glasses off every other second. Hell no.  Seems I'm graduating to bifocals-but am gonna get the progressive no line ones. Get this, remember stupid one of my coworkers?  She's all like the progressive lens suck you should get the bifocals with the lines it's easier and you don't have to move your head as much.  Like I'm really gonna take your advice honey.  You still don't know which patients go where based on their insurance after 3 years at the same job!

Not move my head?  WOW.  There's a good reason-NOT.  I looked at her and said while I appreciate the advice, I'm not gonna walk around with lined glasses.  It would make me feel older than I already am.  I tried to say it nicely, but my mind was a different story.  So I have to go and pick out larger frames as the glasses I have now aren't quite big enough.  You bet I already told them I'm no eating the money I paid for these lenses I can't use.

Stupid thing is, I have vision insurance and don't use it as I like this doctor.  But when I looked up what I could be paying versus what I am paying out of pocket? Huge difference.  Am thinking next year I may have to leave him and find another.  His staff is a bunch of jerks anyway.

Now onto the mani.  It's an Enchanted Fest!  Here is the bottle shot.

Holy crap look at how strong the holo is here!  I could stare all day.  Next I stamped using Fantasy and plate SDP-Q, then I placed glitter-which I loathe doing, and added a bit of To Die For to the accent nail.

It does take away from the holo goodness, but I think it came out pretty cool!

I'm now chair dancing to Perez Prado.  If you've never listened to him and his Mambo-you're missing out!

Anonymous Lacquer Fangalicious, LSL Just Mauvelous and more stamping

Woke up in the middle of the night shivering with my two cats practically lying on top of me for warmth.  It's the first serious frost of the season.  It's 38F out there and I had the windows open! Whoops!  Had to turn the heat on just to get the chill out.  I keep my house cold. I grew up that way and I like it that way.  No higher than 66F in my house during the cold.  I'm a huge fan of snuggling with blankets and kitties!

No one is buying my polish.  I guess I am going to either give up or truly open that Store Envy account I started.  Oh but how I loathe having to take single pictures, crop them edit them and upload them with descriptions just for $3 a polish.  Is it even worth it?  Probably not.  Maybe if I group some together like a pot luck kind of thing and do it that way.  I've no idea.  I'm still thinking about it.

Not feeling all that good today.  Woke up feeling meh.  So I'm just going to get to it.

Oh yeah baby! See that white flash on my pointer finger?  This holo kept freaking my camera out it's so strong!  I LOVE it!

Next I stamped using a Konad polish and plate SDP-O.

Oh how I love this holo!  It's gorgeous!  Look how amazing that linear rainbow is! Swoooooon.  I once again tried advanced stamping but with acrylic paint and it was another huge fail.  I just did simple.

Essie Nude Beach, Classic French

This mani was inspired by two things.  One, that I had very little time to mess with it and two, that I just had my nails freshly done and I didn't want to cover them up too much.

I got my case for my iphone 6plus-I'm just still waiting for my new iphone 6plus! HAHA! It's got to be here by Thanksgiving so mom can take my phone over.  I'm just getting anxious.  It's been two and a half weeks since I ordered it.  Hurry up!

I have so many new polish to show you and not enough nails! I have the rest of the Barielle set, of which I need to show you four, I have six Devil Wears Polish brown holos, I have three Enchanted Polish, one Anonymous Lacquer and a couple of Colors by Llarowe.  Damn I need to get cracking!

I've been good and haven't ordered any new in a while.

I almost ordered the set from Pipe Dream polish and her neons, but I decided it can wait.  She has said she will keep restocking them so it's not like they are going away.  I was going to get the Essie Fall set, but nope.  I didn't get any CbL Halloween LE colors-but may need some of her Fall ones.

Well it seems that Fate may be intervening in my no buy.  It seems that the restock for the neons did not go as planned and has been reset for Sunday night. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.  What to do?

All right, on to what I have to say is a gorgeous mani.

I didn't even do a bottle shot as GASP I only used one color.  That being Essie Nude Beach.  I ordered up a fresh new bottle since my old one was from 2004.  Here is this stunning color.

Gotta love a color that is an easy clean up! As I can't use acetone, cleanup for me takes twice as long! These are my new nails-I went more square this time, and a tad longer. I love them! Plus this Essie is a stunningly beautiful polish.  One I always wore with my classic frenches before I found dark and vampy! It has the most beautiful tiny shimmer in it. Blues and greens and pinks.

I stamped using plate Big SDP-L and did my funky.  Here are the awesome results.

The stupid sun went away for this part! I so love this mani and couldn't stop staring. People at work asked me if I was going to a wedding.  Why is this only ok for a wedding?????

People were also freaked out on Instagram as this is so different from what I normally do. Again, this was all I did before finding my polish addiction to the darks.

I'm not happy with my stamping here, only one nail here is a good crisp design.  I was making myself mad!

Anywho, I do love my nails this length- as they grow out the next two weeks, we shall see what length I ultimately end up with.  I don't want talons!

Enchanted Polish HCFU, The Devil Wears Polish, stamping

Let's see, where to begin.  I got my nails done again.  I've decided I love them too much to stop now. I may change my mind in the future, but for right now, I'm keeping them. The crazy thing is, I thought it would take forever to soak them off.  Nope.  It took less than ten minutes.  I was shocked. It was a relief to know that, as I was picturing like half an hour like acrylics take. My nails didn't look too beat up either.  This time though, I had her do only two layers and I went a little longer.  They look so much better with the two layers.  I still had to have tips added, but next time, my own nails should be long enough not to even need the tips.  Plus hopefully the gap won't be as noticeable as they are in this post!  I'm also hoping that at some point, I can go three weeks, but it's not looking likely as my nails grow so fast.

In order to keep my nails up, I've given up my facials.  I am still using their facial products and at the moment, my skin isn't too bad.  But I just can't afford to do both.

Damn I need a sugar daddy!

Work is stupid as always.  Finally, the construction that was supposed to only take four months is almost over.  It's only been a year! It's supposed to be opened and using the space in 2 weeks.

I'm not holding my breath.

I'm also going to vent what I do every October.  I HATE PINK! Why is it, that the deadliest cancer, being lung cancer, doesn't have the recognition that breast cancer does? Do you even know what color ribbon is for lung cancer or what month is for lungs? I bet you don't.  It gets to me every October.

It's not that I'm not for breast cancer research etc, it's more that I wish lung cancer was seen as just as important.  It kills WAY more people than any other cancer.  Since it's one of the cancers I do at work, I lose a lot of patients and it makes me very sad every time.

Stupid work makes us do these monthly learning things.  Guess what they are always about?  Yup the pinkness spreads itself there.  I was so proud of myself for having a perfect record of not doing ANY of them until I got busted for September's article. Nope I still haven't done it yet, but I don't think they are going to forget this time.

In this first picture, you can very easily see the gap because it creates a shadow with light polish.  I had even buffed the gel down and added a layer of gel polish!

Anywho, this HCFU is to die for! If I were to have a custom created?  It would most likely be like this.  Perhaps a tad darker but yeah it's a stunner.

Next I actually tried to do some advanced stamping, took pictures of the steps that didn't turn out, and failed.  I started over and just did my regular stamping and added my FUNKY! Those with me from the beginning know this formula of mine well.  Two colors, stamping and a funky.

How gorgeous is this?  I used DRK-C plate for this.  I am in love and miss doing manis like this one.
