Revenge - Lindsay Lohan Style

To all of you out there who have been dumped by a text message, to those that have been told, "I've found someone else" and "I hope we can still be friends" this post is for you. Yes, I just got such text. When did it become ok to break someone's heart in a 3 sentence text? Why don't you grow a pair??  And the kicker? He wants to share my blog with her because "she likes nail polish too." Well this one's for you, ex honey.

Remember when LiLo was in court? No, I don't remember which time there have been so many! But on one occasion, she had a special mani for the judge that I decided to use for this post today. I'm sorry but all the pics I found had the message blurred out.

Now you know that I don't do the light colors but my message today just wouldn't show on my usual dark colors. They are all Essie, 3 are cremes and Loophole is a shimmer. I will put their names under their respective picture.

Chinoise Variation Part 2 = One Hot Mess

So for my second variation on this same theme, I decided to try Erika's at Chloe's Nails Funky French. I just love her designs so much that I decided to try my hand at it.  Believe me it is way harder than it looks.  I'm sure with practice, it would get easier.  But the scotch tape method ain't easy.

This being my first try, it looks awful.  There are so many layers of polish now, that you can visibly see the thickness. So not attractive.  My lines are not straight and I think my tips are way too thick.  I need to rethink my method of madness here.  I used Essie Loophole for my tips.  The other colors are listed in my previous two posts.

Please don't be mad at my attempt, Erika-as you know, imitation is the best form of flattery! Of course, I will always bow to you, the master.

I don't like this look at all.  I don't like the color combination.  I'm just not sure that nail art is for me.  I do really like the Funky French and definately want to try that again.  I already have several ideas in my head.  But there is just too much going on in this mani for its own good.

I'm embarrassed to show you my amateur attempt, but it is what it is. Sunday I'll be back with my usual over analytical take on things.  Maybe I should just stick to what I know-one color at a time.

Chinoise Variation Part 1 = Pretty Nice

I decided to try something I've never tried before. Nail art. It seems that you guys out there are really loving this trend and I thought maybe I could put my own spin on it.

I thought I'd start with something easy.  Just a simple layer over a color I already had on.  So this is my RBL Chinoise with a layer of China Glaze Fairy Dust over it.

I think it's pretty.  The Fairy Dust was very thick and gloppy.  Is it always like that?

These variations don't come with my take on life-these posts are meant to just be eye candy.  So what do you guys think?
