Matchy Matchy Olive Eye

I just spent the last two hours cropping and watermarking pictures.  People who don't blog have no idea just how much time it really takes to put this thing together.  Luckily, I have no life so it's all good.

You know that book I was telling you about that had the cool premise? Well I think it's making the turn into stupid land.  I should finish it today, I'm about twenty pages or so from done.  It's a disappointment what's happening, but when I actually think about it, I'm not sure what would have made for a better story? You know what I mean? Like anything else would not make sense.  I love reading books, but I don't think there's any way I'd be good at writing one.

It has come to many people's attention at work that Annoying disappears for long periods of time. Like an hour, or two where people need her are looking for her and she ain't anywhere to be found. Too many people are saying stuff to me about this and I always say have you told the boss? Not one has.  So I went and told them this past Friday.  Only the stuff that I have witnessed for myself.  I got out of my doctor conference to go to my clinic.  Her stuff was spread out all over the desk where my doctors needed to work.  I asked if anyone knew where she was.

Nope no one did.  So I moved her stuff.

At least an hour and a half later she finally showed back up stating oh I got kicked out of my space? I looked at her and said yup I have clinic here every Friday morning.  She grabbed her stuff and left. That is what I told the higher ups.  What I also said was for them to talk to several other people who had complained to me.  That I couldn't speak for her on those occasions, only the one I had seen myself.

Not very many people like her and she wonders why.  But to hear her talk, she's all about how fabulous she is and how smart and how this and that.  My coworker actually told her a bit of humble pie may go a long way.

I don't think she gets it.

All right for today I decided I would match my eyes to my shirt.  I actually like doing that sort of thing.  This day I was wearing an olive turtleneck.

Here is the eye look.

Again all makeup geek eyeshadows!  Dirty Martini being the main focus.

Here is the selfie shot.

You can get the matchy feel from this picture big time!

Here's my issue lately.  I am horribly allergic to something and my eyes are literally beet red.  I've tried all sorts of different makeup removers, I know it isn't the eyeshadow.  A coworker said maybe it's my lash glue.  So next week I plan to use a different lash glue to see if that makes a difference.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?

Enchanted Polish Blackberry Jam, Literary Lacquers Lake of Shining Waters

Oh yeah people.  Today we have an oldie but a damn goodie.  It almost went into the blog sale pool, but then I thought nope.  Not this precious beauty.  It's on the thin side, needs a few layers for full opacity, but when you see it, you will know why I am holding on to it for now.

They are doing a free HBO and Cinemax weekend on my TV.  Mom and I always TiVo tons of movies for future viewing when these happen.  It's just so funny how different we are in our pickings.

Mine this time was Fifty Shades of Grey-just so I can say I've seen it, the uncut original Poltergeist and Altered States.  If you haven't seen Altered States people you are missing out! William Hurt, 1980 and sensory deprivation and hallucinatory drugs.  Oh yeah, I've been waiting years to see this one come on again.

I cannot wait!

Oh mom's picks? Taken 3 (I'm sorry but Liam was too old in part one that I just can't), Bird Man, American Sniper, Lucy and the Stephen Hawking one.  Can't remember the title right now.  She likes her action.  You all should know by now I love my horror.

So seeing Altered States come on, reminded me of another movie I saw once and longed to see again. I couldn't remember the title and I googled it and found it.  It's simply called Cube.  Oh and it's a classic.  I had no idea there was a part two and three! Yeah it's in my Amazon cart for next time I place an order.

I don't really remember the movie too much-for all I know I might think it sucks today, but I doubt that.  It's a random bunch of people stuck in a cube where the walls are all made of smaller cubes leading to the next room.  However each room has a trap and people die and the last person standing gets out.

Too bad that ain't playing this weekend as I'm dying to see that now!  Anyone out there who's seen part two and three? Are they good or just weak sequels living off the success of part one?

Anyone???

Right now I'm reading a new Lisa Gardner book called Crash and Burn.  This woman has this memory issue from too many concussions and isn't sure if her husband is a good guy or a bad guy causing the concussions. She also believes she has a daughter but her husband tells her the kid doesn't exist.

So far it's a very cool premise and a good story.   I hope it ends well as some books start off really cool and then the author realizes it's been about 350 pages and just ends the story.

I hate that.

All right, let's do this.

First up is EP Blackberry Jam. This is a gorgeous deep dark vampy purple cream.

OMGOMGOMG! This is almost color accurate, perhaps a bit more green IRL.  But yeah it's a stunning teal green holo.  I had forgotten just how gorgeous this is.

Oh and for those that celebrate like my family does on 12/5-Happy St Nicholas Day!!!!

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?

It's a Purple Work Eye

I am not happy with the selfie picture I'll be posting for you today.  The one with the yellow eyes was just so perfect that I can't seem to get that pose back.  I am practicing trust me I take about forty pictures of each look and have to weed them down to one.

It's a freakin pain in the a**.

With Christmas coming up, I know it's going to be hard to be home and not have my dad there.  Then going to his sister's house with his extended family for dinner will be even harder because I always sat next to dad as he sat at the head of the table.

This year he won't be there.  It's going to be hard.  Mom was there for Thanksgiving dinner but sat at the kid's table and didn't even look to see who if anyone was sitting in dad's place.  Maybe I'll ask my brother if anyone sat there.  Although I'm sure someone did.

At least I'll be able to be there this year.  I'm glad for that.  I don't mind being home alone for Thanksgiving.  I have five days off in a row! I get a lot of stuff done and a lot of caught up rest I need. But being home alone for Christmas isn't as fun.  Did it last year and yeah it sucked.

Remember that standard of care raise we were supposed to get?

Well let me just tell you, I'll be retiring early and living the good life after finding out what my raise will be.

Are you ready????

$0.35 an hour.

Yup.  Just call me Mommy Warbucks.

I think I'd rather get nothing? Now you all know I'm joking. Something is better than nothing of course, but come on.  35 cents? That's why I told you that post that I don't expect and I don't ask.

All right let's get to this look for today.

This is Ofra liquid lipstick in Mocha and yes it's not my favorite pose but patients loved my purple eyes.  I got several compliments that day.  Used all Makeup Geek eyeshadows again.  Let me know if you want to know all the makeup products I used.

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?

Enchanted Polish September 2015, Pandore

Today I am showing you two gorgeous Enchanted Polish.

Story time first.  I totally forgot to update you on my broken Morphe brush story.  So two days after I sent the email with pictures I received a reply.  This stated that yes in fact this looks like a manufacturing issue and I will be sent a new one.

Gee you think?

So I have gotten my replacement and it is fine, even though it was sent the exact same way in a flimsy bubble wrap envelope like the first one was.  Now there is rumor that Morphe is thinking of doing a monthly brush club where you pay x amount of dollars and get different brushes every month just like Birchbox.  I think this would be a cool idea only if they box it for shipping better.

I'm going to wait and see.

I've decided that in fact Sigma brushes are the ones I prefer.  Wish I had known this before buying the Zoeva set but there it is.  I am in love with their waterline brush the E17.  It's the teeniest thing and you know how I love my pop of color there! The Sigma brushes just seem to wash up better and place shadow better.  I just like them.

It's officially Black Friday as I write this.  I am not one of those who get up in the middle of the night to wait in line at a store to save a few bucks.  Every year they show you pandemonium and people getting rushed and crushed trying to get into a store and I just find that ridiculous.

I so prefer online shopping. That's my forte.

My latest obsession to find is the Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca palette. It's sold out on Sephora and I only see it on Ebay for billions of dollars.  I knew I should have bought it when I first saw it.  Don't you hate when you do that????

If any of you out there knows where I can get one at a decent price please let me know!

Now let's get to the pretties shall we?

First up is September 2015.  This is a gorgeous robin's egg blue holo.

Now in case you were wondering how this compares to November 2015 that I already showed you. Here is a comparison picture.

Here you can see they are two totally different colors.  Pandore is on the top.

There you have it for today! Just realized when this posts, it's December 1.  Holy crap this year has gone fast.

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
