RBL Oliveto and Elevation Polish Yeti, Antelao

Vacation is over.  Work is the same.  Why can't I just be on permanent vacation? Wouldn't that be great?

I bought a new fishing pole yesterday and a fish scale.  Yes, it would have been better had I thought about it before I left for vacation this year, but think how awesome next year's gonna be!

My nails are total crap.  I'm talking peeled half way down my nail, as in the top layer of nail gone and I'm left with a mushy layer.  I asked my nail guru, Ana at NailCareHQ.com and she told me to file all the way down as short as you can go, then add nail glue to the peel and keep filing as it grows out until the peels are gone.  Gonna be painful and ugly. But I've rocked the super nubs before and I can do it again.

My betta?  While I was gone, his fins and tail grew back in nicely.  I'm home two days and he'd already eaten his tail a bit again.  I think I figured out I was not feeding him enough. Apparently I have a little piggy for a fish.  The bottle of food says 4-6 pellets twice a day.  Get this, mine is eating 13 pellets twice a day and has stopped eating his tail!  This means I've been starving the poor thing! The store clerk when I bought him told me they fed him ONE a day.  No wonder he was eating his tail!  He still hasn't made me a bubble nest in the new tank, but I think that has to do with the low flow of the filter moving the water around and preventing bubbles from sticking.

At least that's what I'm telling myself.

This morning when I got up, I looked in my 30 gallon tank and saw TWO fish babies. My fish are getting more than I am!  How sad is that???

Now these babies are tiny.  I'm talking about 1mm in size, if not smaller.  They are extremely hard to see.  I watched them eat breakfast, then I noticed one was gone.  As I searched for him, I went back to check on the other and he was gone too!  One of my other fish ate my new fish babies right before my eyes!  I didn't actually see who did it, but now I'm all sorts of sad.  They were the cutest little things.

Yes I know I should fish them out and put them in their own tank, but I don't have one. Maybe I could use my betta's old house if I see one again.

Cross your fingers!

Today's mani is very simple, yet a very cool color combination.  I love it.

Here is your silly bottle shot.

As my title promised, this is Elevation Polish Antelao and Yeti with Rescue Beauty Lounge Oliveto. See the shimmer in the RBL?  Yup blue to go with the Antelao blue.

Oh how I love this combination! These are NOT the super nubs.  Those are coming. Next I simply added studs and some glitter.  GASP! Glitter you say???? Yes people, I have a thing for black and white glitter.  I own 8 different ones.  This one happens to have a bit of blue glitter in it.  I think it's gorgeous.

Seems this Yeti has a bit of holo to it as well.  It may just be my new fave glitter!

What do you think?

Until next time people. Any thoughts out there?
