My Official Birthday Mani-Enchanted Polish

I told you that my birthday has come and gone.  You wait all year for it, it seems to take forever to arrive and then it's gone in a flash.  As I write this, it is the last day of April, my favorite month of the year, besides September!

Yeah I have favorite months, favorite trees, favorite birds-all sorts of stuff make up the person behind this blog.  Is that weird?

First a work update.  So the people who were supposed to get off their ass and do work?  Not happening. One of the other workers has taken it upon themself to do their work and run the clinic for them so they don't have to do anything. Kind of defeats the purpose eh?  Still the other coworkers b*tch at me about this. All I can do is listen and tell them to go talk to the boss.  I've just about had it and may just implode right there at my desk.

The other stupid random thing?  The hospital I work at decided to give out free t-shirts for an event coming this weekend.  When I saw the line the first time?  Way long and no way was I going to sit there and wait.  I figured it was lunchtime, I'd go back in a few.

Imagine my chagrin when I did go back-hey a free t-shirt is a free t-shirt, and they were all out.  Now there are supposed to be many sessions of passing out free shirts.  I'm sure they can count and know how many employees work there right?  Why not have enough shirts to go around?  Now I'm not only bummed, but mad. It's just the kind of thing my workplace does.  Not think ahead.

This will also be the official first post using my new camera.  Now I am a novice and still learning how to use it and how to crop the pictures.  I was asked to do a whole hand pose-not sure why, but I will try to incorporate this in future posts.

Let's start with the bottle shot eh?

Holy crap look at this picture.  You can see every detail.  It's freakin amazing.  It's too big a file, so I will need to play with that some.  I'm simply in awe at the detail and crispness of this shot.  It's mind boggling to me.

Oh and the polish? Colors by Llarowe Woodstock, Enchanted Polish Serendipity and Beautiful Rule Breaking Moth.

Next let's just take in the beauty that is this photo itself.  This camera is already making my day!  Wait til I figure out how to really use it!

I'll have to remember that the serious awesomeness of this camera will show every flaw and smear.  But how cool is this mani?  How cool are these photos?

I cannot contain my excitement about this new camera!  I am hooked with a new hobby and was so worth the money!

Here is a picture of my front yard to show how it does nature.

This is actually my neighbors yard beyond the stone driveway you see there.  The yard to the right is my yard in the front.  How gorgeous is this picture!
