Simple Tape Mani

So I in fact made it to work yesterday at 0730 for the stupid staff meeting that had nothing to do with my job.  Actually, only one of about 20 people in that meeting directly did the tasks discussed.  How does this help me do my job?  I was so focused on getting there on time that I got up at 0430 so when I did get there, I was not awake and left my damn iphone in my car.

My life is in that iphone.  If I were to lose it, it would be very bad for sure.  So the whole meeting all I'm thinking about is, "did I leave my phone in the car?" and "please let it be there."  As soon as it was over, I went to the parking deck to my car.  I was wearing my high heeled combat boots and again was not awake yet so I wasn't really concentrating on walking and all of a sudden, my right ankle gave out from under me in front of a pile of people at the elevator.  First let me just say OUCH, it really hurt, but even worse, I was all sorts of embarrassed, like I had on new shoes or new feet.

So stupid.  I got to my car and yes my phone was there.  Phew.  I did make it back in without killing myself or breaking my ankle and finished my day.

Here's the other weird tangent. You know I feed the birds and the squirrels in my back yard.  The feeder hangs from a wrought iron stand thing and I've had it up for about 5 years give or take.  Well lately, I've been waking up in the morning to the iron being bent at an almost 90 degree angle to the ground.  It ain't squirrels so I'm wondering if I have a raccoon messing with it.  Although I have no idea why since the food isn't missing or anything.  At some point with all this bending back and forth, it's going to break and I will have to buy a new one.  Yes I do bend it back, but it's just weird you know?  Makes me wonder if there's a person doing it to mess with me, but that's probably irrational.

I could go out and buy expensive night vision cameras and videotape the scene-but I'm not there yet. For now I think I will just have to take the feeder in at night and see what happens.  At least until I can be sure the raccoon or other critter is over it.

This is Painted Polish by Lexi Honeysuckle and Sea Lavender with OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls in the middle.  These are touted as 'light' holos.  You can see the rainbow in the bottles, but not so much on the nails.

I started with Boyfriend and an accent of Lavender.

My poor little nubs!  Anywho, I next simply did a tape mani.  I wanted to do clean and simple.  This turned out really awesome though.

If you look real hard, you can see some sparkle in this Lavender.  I am loving this mani, even if it's purple and pink!!!
