Valentine's Day Mani

Yes I am behind on posting again.  I've been a bad, bad girl.  My parents just left after spending the weekend and I'm now writing furiously a weeks worth of posts.

I finally decided what to spend my Christmas money on.  A new vacuum!  The exact same model and make, just the newer version.  WHY you ask?  Because it was on sale.  It's a nice vacuum, works good for what I need it for.  I certainly can't afford a Dyson.  Are those really worth the $$? Anyone out there that has one can tell me if it is.  The bummer is that it's red.  Yes my hair is red, but I'm not a huge fan of it in my life.  As you all should know by now, I live for brown.  They just don't ask me these things when they make vacuum colors.

So I've figured out why I have so few hits to my blog. It's because I do weird obscure post titles that have nothing to do with the polish or mani held within its paragraphs. Would you guys like it more if for instance this post you know will have a Valentine's mani.  I can do that instead of my figure out what the hell this means title.

Let me know!

Now on to the greatness at hand. I am SO happy and proud of this one.  It may now be in my top five of all time fave manis.  Seriously, no joking.  And I HATE Valentine's Day.  Absolute hatred for the Hallmark holiday that forces those in coupledom to buy their significant other stuff, while making those who are not betrothed feel like a big pile of crap for being alone.  Yeah I am not kidding about my loathing this holiday. Once I was dumped on VDay.  That certainly didn't help the situation.

You also know I am not a huge fan of the pink.  I had a funny realization of this recently as I finally got my hands on a complete list of Enchanted Polish holos ever made and most of the ones I'm missing from way back when are pinks.  Go figure!

This mani combines both.

Here is your silly bottle shot.

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Just Mauvelous, Tripendicular and Enchanted Polish Cranberry Cosmos.

I started with a full mani with Mauvelous.

The sun decided to not come out for this part. This may look like a gold or whitish, but it's a sheer light pink. Next I sponged on the other two holos in a gradient.  Here is that step.

I'm still practicing this technique.  But stamping over this covers up a multitude of sins!  I used Bundle Monster plate 317.  Here are the oh so awesome results.

Yes I think this is perfect in every way possible.  Even though it's pink and Valentine's related!

What do you guys think?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
