Oh sun, why have you forsaken me? I have all these new holos and you choose to hide when I need you and appear when I don't. I cannot live without the rainbows and sparkles!
So I did my nails for a date I had last Saturday. Of course, I ran out of time and only got the base color put down. I figured I'd do the rest when I got home. Figured the date wouldn't last that long. In my rush to get to said appointment, I did not take pictures of this holo polish while the sun was shining. Murphy's Law states that this means the sun would be in hiding when it was time to take the pictures needed for my blog.
Oh you want to know about the date? Well, it went really well. We started at Starbucks-which I hate, but it seems to be the place where people suggest for first dates. Then we decided to go to IHOP and stayed there for three hours talking. Starbucks was one hour. We started getting the evil eye from the staff at IHOP since we had been there so long. We left and sat in his car for the next almost two hours. Yes people, it was a six hour date. We talked, we laughed, I thought it was going swimmingly. When I left, he said he'd call me. Seeing as I have yet to make it to a second date in my search, I was very skeptical.
On my way home, he texted me and I thought, yeah this is good. Until two hours later when I got a text saying that he thought I was a sweetie, but I was not the match he was looking for. WTF??? Now I'm pissed thinking why did you just waste six hours of my time, not including the 1.5 hours of drive time to meet. I did not get to finish my mani, nor did I get the sun shots I wanted and all for what? Abso-freakin-lutely nothing.
The next day, I was feeling pretty low. This whole dating thing is really kind of getting to me. Am wondering if I really even want to do this anymore. Especially since I found a new blog that proclaims all the reasons staying single is the way to be. What's it called?
Reasons To Be Single. It's a riot! You need to check this blog out. I have started at reason number one and am currently at reason #31. I found it when I was voting for the Comospolitan blogs of the year thing. This woman writes so well, that it makes me want to stay single! But of course, there are days when I would really like to have a man around. It's complicated.
What I did the next day after that date? Made sure I was on the POF site and made sure he saw me hopefully making him feel at least a little bit like the ass he is. Childish yes, but felt oh so good.

This is Enchanted Polish Water For Unicorns and Llarowe In The Navy. I started with Unicorn and an accent of Navy. Once again, this Llarowe polish had a wonky brush just like my last post. It's really bumming me out. Here are the starting shots. Please imagine the rainbows. Trust me, there are a ton in this Unicorn. The Navy again more scattered than linear.

This last picture was in my kitchen light. You can see some rainbows here. Just know that this Enchanted is like all the others I've shown you. Seriously rainbowy. I will definitely need to show these to you again when the sun cooperates.
