Remember when I told you that I had no backup posts scheduled? Well I had plans to get all caught up, but got a horrific migraine that lasted two days. When I get one, I can't even look at a computer screen or anything. I am still having remnants. What caused said migraine? Lumosity! I signed up for the brain exercise site and totally love it but I got so hard core that I gave myself a migraine. So in the future, I will take breaks in between sessions because this has sucked.
To go along with my new found love of brain teasers, I had to do an appropriate mani right? My last post had mentioned that the sun wasn't coming out so I couldn't do the holos I had planned. Well guess what? The damn sun came out once I had finished the base color. Isn't that how it always is?
Lumosity is a website that is supposed to help your brain improve. The exercises are daily and it involves things like colors, math, 3D patterns stuff like that. I love that kind of geeky stuff. You can do it for free, but most of the cooler exercises will be hidden from you. If you pay for it, you get way more exercises. This is what I did. I'm anxious to see if it helps me get even smarter than I am! HAHA!

I am continuing with my Essie's from way back when. This is Essie Velvet Voyeur-love this name, and A England Sleeping Palace.
I started with a full mani of Voyeur. This is a deep dark vampy purple leaning burgundy cream. It is stunning, but it stains like a beeyotch. So ignore that please! Here are the starting shots.

This is my kind of polish!!! Next I stamped with Palace using Cheeky jumbo plate 4 Top of the Class. Here is that step.

I'm glad the sun came out so you can see the holo sparkle from Palace. Isn't this pretty? I love these two colors together.
