Those of you paying attention will realize that I missed a day with my every other day posting. There is a very good reason for this-I had a date! Now we all know the rule-boys trump polish. At least in my world it does! We had a very nice time. Played pool, which I haven't done in years! I used to be soooooo good. I am not bragging here, it's just reality. I practiced hours every day back in my 20s. I would beat all the boys at the bar. They never thought a girl could play pool and be good. Well I smoked them all. At the time, I was living in St Louis and in my crowd, there was only one guy who could beat me and I used to practice with him for hours before going to the bar. It's how you get better, playing someone better than you. Let's just say that I lost 0-6 to my date. I hang my head in shame at that. But oh how much fun it was playing again. I have truly missed that a lot.
I think I will be seeing him again, since he already said he missed me hours after our date was over! Cross your fingers people!
Now on to the task at hand. I went back to my old stash of Essies like I did before with Alligator Purse. This time, I chose a vampy burgundy that I used to wear all the time back in the day when all this began. I decided I'd pair it with a brand new holo I just got.

Did I forget to mention that there will be too many pictures again in this post? Can you blame me? This May is gorgeous! Yes it's pink, but a happy pink-there's some color in there that doesn't make me cringe. Maybe you color wheel people can tell me what color is in this pink to mellow it out. Material Girl is just as dark and vampy as I remember. Love it!!
Next I stamped using Konad special polish in Red Wine because Material Girl was too sheer. I used Cheeky jumbo plate 8 Princess Charming. Here is that step.

How awesome are the two colors together? Old and new playing nice. I just love this so much!
I apologize for missing a day posting-but hope that I have reason to miss more! HAHA! I'll try not to let it affect me and my blog too much! HAHA! Oh and I did get another "nice rack" comment from another ass. Why do guys think that's appropriate? Oh and another asked me about my privates. Really? WTF happened to society? I'm all for online stuff, but it's taken away social mores and class. No way in hell would a guy ask me what he asked me out in public on a first date. So why has it become OK to do online?
