Not a very misleading title today eh? My brain is foggy from a cold I seem to have picked up at work. Nothing like working in a hospital to give you access to all sorts of fun germs. Nurses are notorious for still showing up at work, even when near collapse from illness. They think it's heroic. Looky me, I'm sick and still showed up to work. I'm like, great, that's what I'll be dealing with in a few days. Never fails. I've been known to go to work feeling bad quite a few times I'll admit, but never when I have a fever. That's when everyone should stay home. That's when you are most contagious people! Stay home!!!
I also want to gripe about holiday traffic. Add rain to the mix and it seems people forget how to drive. WTF? So Monday here is a holiday and most people have the day off. While I was trying to get to work, the stupid people who took Friday off were already on the road and in the left lane and in my way going about 40mph. This I had to deal with for about 25 miles until that traffic dumped off on a different interstate heading for the beach. Then, I thought I was golden. Nope. There was an accident near my job, but traffic was backed up for literally 10 miles. There I am, sitting in my car going 0mph because people are stupid and can't drive in the rain. I was 30 minutes late for work. Sh*t!! I knew I should have just stayed home sick.
