It's Deja Vu

This post is dedicated to Heather at Peace, Love and Polish.  If you haven't been reading her blog, you should be.  Heather really has been stepping up the greatness lately and is really doing some awesome stuff.  When I debuted my Christmas Sweater nails, she asked me to do a whole post on the green polish I had only used for my funky.  So this one's for you, Heather!

I've got nothing to talk about except that Virginia is supposed to get snow.  3-5 inches. Being from New York where 12 inches in a few hours means nothing, it's funny to me how silly the area gets with even the mention of snow. I showed you at Christmas time all the snow we got and the blizzard I drove through to get home.  That's worth freaking out over.  Not 3-5 inches-if we even get that much.  What's so funny is that the news covers nothing but the coming snow.  Seriously nothing else matters.  The people rush to the stores and buy up all the bread and milk.  I am not kidding here.  It's like people think they won't be able to get to the store for a month.  This happens before the snow even starts.  Just the mere mention and the city literally closes all the schools and the businesses.

I've lived here for almost 15 years now (Damn, has it been that long? Wish I hadn't thought about that fact.) and it remains the same every time the threat of snow happens.

OK let's get down to business!  Here is the silly bottle shot for today.

But Fingers, wait a minute, those are the same polish you used for your first Christmas Sweater!  Why yes observant people out there!  They are the same.  This is American Apparel Hunter and Bettina Ruby.

This time however, I started with Hunter, which is a gorgeous evergreen creme.  Here are the shots-the sun is still in hiding here.

How's that Heather?  Stunning isn't it??!  Oh and this is the debut of the nubs.  I figure if Nailed It can do nubs all the time with greatness, so can I.

I next stamped with Sally Hansen Whirlwind White and yup, Nailz Craze plate NC03. Are you tired of this design yet?  I'm not!  Here is that step.

Man how I love this design!  So I finished this off with my funky using Ruby.  Here are the results.

So, what do you think of this?  Is this acceptable?  The contest I entered with this plate has already closed for entries.  But here are the three versions I've done so far with this design.  You tell me which one is your favorite.

Contest Entry

Personally, I like the white base with black stamp one best.  I saw that Marta at ChitChatNails has entered this contest as well and I just can't compete with her greatness!  The voting has started but I want you to only vote for me if you feel it's the best, not just because you love me.  Promise me people!  I only want to win if my design is truly the best.  Click here to vote. The voting ends January 24th.

Also, Marta has used this design but stamped it in the opposite direction which gives this design a whole new look.  Of course I'm going to have to try that!!!

Tell me which color combo is your favorite?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
