For a rainy day-

I know, I know, I'm a day late with this post.  Things have been happening that I will tell you all about on the next post.  I promise!

But first, I am going to reveal my new favorite grey polish of all time.  I really never got into the grey polish trend, never really liked it on my nails.  But Elevation Polish changed all that.  She has come up with a color so gorgeous, I just couldn't stop staring.

The day I did this mani it was cold, dreary and raining.  My favorite kind of day.  It was a day to snuggle with a blanket and my kitties and just watch the rain.  That's exactly what I did that day too!  I thought this mani would be perfect to reflect my kind of day.

First up, the silly bottle shot.

This is Elevation Polish Kita and Rescue Beauty Lounge Stormy.  I have shown you Stormy before. Kita is my new fave grey.  OF ALL TIME!

Here are the starting shots.  Remember, it was raining, and I just know Kita would be even more stunning had the sun been out.  I need to reswatch for the sun shot.

These were both taken in my Ott Lite.  What you can't see is the hidden holo shimmer in this.  This is a gorgeous steel grey cream with the holo sparkles hidden throughout.  I am in love people! This was sold in the September sale and will be back November 7th.

Next I took my Sally Hansen Whirlwind White and stamped with BM plate 312.  Here is that step.

Can you see the clouds and the rain?  I thought this was perfect for a rainy day.  I finished up with my funky as always.  Here are the results.

This was a pretty difficult stamp design to work with.  All the little etches wanted to not come off on the nail.  I had to really clean the design between each nail, which I really almost never do.  It was maybe not etched quite deep enough.  But oh how cool right? Does this not scream rainy day?

I am in love with this Kita.  I will wear her again, and I will show off her holo sparkles!

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
