My new fave teal

I had my last blog sale just so I could buy all of the new Rescue Beauty Lounge collection.  I just love Ji and her colors.  When I got them in my hands, I knew I just had to combine two of them into one glorious mani.

Before we get to it, you know I must tell a story.  Back in the day, I was a married person, and for our 6th anniversary, we went to West Virginia to take fly fishing lessons.  Our guide was this cute about 80 year old man and he really knew his stuff. When we got back home, we went crazy and bought fly rods, the vest and all the accoutrements.  I even taught myself how to make my own flies.  It was really awesome.  I miss those days.  I haven't been fly fishing in years.  My rod still hangs on the wall, my vest in the closet.  You all know, that I go to Canada every September to fish, but it's not fly fishing.

Why am I telling you this story?  Take a look at today's silly bottle shot.

No this is not an implement in torture.  This is my fly making apparatus.  In front, are some of the flies that I made.  Pretty cool eh?  This is Lilacquer Selkie, Rescue Beauty Lounge Faraway Nearby and Jack in the Pulpit.

I started with Jack in the Pulpit, which is this gorgeous green leaning dark teal with blue shimmer.  The accent nail of Faraway blue matches the shimmer.  Here is that step.

I am in love with this color combination.  It's hard to see the shimmer in the Jack but trust me, it's there and it's stunning.  Next I stamped with the opposite color using the new Bundle Monster plate B312.  I then added a layer of Selkie for added shimmer and topped it off with my funky.  Here are your results.

Swoooooooooon.  I am in love with this mani.  It looks even more gorgeous in real life.  I tweeted a picture to Ji and told her she was a genius.  These colors are absolute perfection in my book.

What do you think?

Until next time people.  Any thoughts out there?
