A first for seconds-

Are you confused by my title?  Does it irritate you that I don't just come right out and tell you what polish I'm doing?  Oh well-I like coming up with misleading titles to make you want to read and find out just what the hell I'm talking about this time.

Remember my post "Hell Hath Frozen Over"?  Well I just can't get enough of that glitter.  So today we have a first for seconds.  Now you get the title eh? I don't think I have had a repeat in polish for the past 7 months I've been blogging.  That's how much I love this stuff!

Here is your requisite bottle shot.

Yeah, that's a pile of leaves on my deck that I have yet to sweep up.  I'll get around to it eventually!  Today we have Bettina Secret, Lynnderella Connect the Dots and Essie Blanc.  Bettina is a Puerto Rican brand that I just love!  This Secret is a deep dark grey creme.  I think it's beautiful.  Here are your sun and shade shots.

Oh yeah, that awesome blue sky is back today! I didn't do indoor shots today because I thought the shade ones were prettier.  Plus I had too many pictures and had to cut some out!  Next I added Connect the Dots and my funky french.  Here are the results.

I just love the shimmer in the Connect the Dots!! In different light, the shimmer actually made rainbows! I couldn't capture that on my camera.  How awesome is this??? I don't ever want to take it off!!  I love it that much!  I may need to get a third backup bottle!

I do need help from blog land.  My Essie Blanc sucks as a white polish.  It's runny and not pigmented enough.  Can you tell me a good white (no drugstore brand) polish that covers in one coat?  Orly, China Glaze etc.  Would really appreciate the help!

What polish can't you live without?

Dupe Day Revisited-Part 6- Cherry Red/Santa Red

No I have no idea what the difference is between cherry red and Santa red.  Maybe they are all the same!!

We will start with the cherry red.

Here is the preview shot.

This is Deborah Lippmann My Old Flame, Bettina Chic, Essie Limited Addiction and RBL Chinoise.

Here are the pictures.

I think 2 and 3 are the same, the RBL has a lot more orange in it.

On to the Santa reds.

Here is the preview shot.

These are Essie Size Matters, China Glaze Phat Santa, Deborah Lippmann Lady is a Tramp and China Glaze City Siren.

Here are the pictures.

I think 1 and 4 are the same and 2 and 3 are the same.  These are a little darker and more berry than the cherry reds.

What do you think?

Warning-many rainbows ahead!

I love holos.  They are so pretty.  Every kind of light you try, there are different rainbows and color combinations.  I am waiting for the perfect brown holo.  Anyone out there know of one?

Today we have Glitter Gal Marine Blue Holo and Black 3D Holo.  I bought these from the lovely Leah Ann who is awesome in getting us brands from around the world that we would otherwise never get.  Soon she will be selling Lynnderella polish! Her shop is Llarowe.

First up, the silly bottle shot.

You can already see some rainbows in the bottles! The day I painted my nails it rained without stopping. So the sunshine shots are after three days of wear. This polish was still rocking though!  First up we have Marine Blue.  This is a medium blue and just beautiful on its own.  Here are the shots.

I really didn't want to cover up this pretty color so I just did my funky french with 3D Black holo.  Here are a bazillion shots in sun and indoor lighting. You might want to wear shades!

With a stamp

I did one thumb with a stamp just to see how it would look.  What do you guys think? Should I have stamped all of them or is it prettier on its own?  Are you loving the rainbows?? I am!

If you are reading this, Leah Ann, if you ever need a tester or swatcher-I'm all yours!!  I just love these holos and am grateful to have a place to get these. Can't wait to show you what else I got.

Any thoughts out there?

Am wondering if you would like me to go to a 2 column blog so I can make my pictures even bigger-any thoughts out there?

These 8 inches give me google eyes-

Oh yeah people-I said EIGHT INCHES!!!  Ponder amongst yourselves for a moment.......

Now be honest-how many of you out there have dirty minds and think I'm talking about a penis?? I know I would if I saw that title!! But alas, I am not so lucky!!

My parents visited me last weekend and surprised me with a new 40" flat screen TV.  It replaced the very old school flat screen but not skinny 32" TV that was a hand me down. There's your eight inches you dirty minded people!  You see, I watch A LOT of TV and I think my parents were feeling sorry for me and decided I needed an upgrade.  So Santa came early this year!! I must say this thing rocks!! I am waiting for the dude to come and hook me up with a high def DVR so the picture should be even better.  So I want to say a very public THANK YOU to my mom and dad!! I love you!!!!

So now on to the google eye part.  Today we have a Julep blue fest.  I have Michelle and Amy.  Say hello Michelle and Amy.......

Isn't it funny how you see my reflection taking these pictures?? High def is amazing!!! I have told you before that I leave my Christmas lights up year round. So my new TV has been decorated!!

Michelle is a dark blue creme while Amy is a light blue creme.  The formula on Amy was a bit thick and goopy.  I really wish Julep would change their bottles. It makes for really tough application.  I tipped over the bottle twice while I was using it.  They are both very pigmented and you could get away with one coat. Here are your indoor and outdoor shots.

Aren't they pretty?? Of course, I couldn't just leave them like that right? So I stamped with XL plate B and my funky french and voila-google eyes.

Don't they look like eyes to you? Maybe not close up but from a distance I think it does.

Any thoughts out there in blog land?
